Let me inform about the taxability of retirement benefit such as leave salary of state gove employee, particularly leave salary on unearned leave for private affairs which is normally encashable upto 90 days apart from 240 days of earned leave, The Local fund audit Depart which is waste ful dept of audit is claiming that it is taxable. What is the Indian gove rules on this>/ Please inform

This is regarding my Application for my PAN CARD Name change request vide Application No. [protected] dated 14th April 2014. I would like to inform you that I have forwarded all the necessary documents including my Passport Copy in my New Name. I have been following up with this matter since then . Yesterday I received a mail from Tin Info Team stating" your application has been rejected by ITD as there exists another application pending against this PAN. You are requested to clear that application.
I fail to understand what does this mean. I have made only 1 application under the above No. Request you to kindly look into this matter and try and resolve the same as soon as possible,
