My sister also has not got her refund after 2 years. Amount is Rs. 48000 without any interest added. I do not understand what the IT department will do by sitting on and eating a salaried person's hard-earned money.

i had filed my income tax return for the assessment year 2009-10 through e-filing on 18/07/2009. Acknowledgement number is-[protected]. its been more than 1.5 year i am waiting for the refund.the concerned department is requested to kindly process the refund.

Sub:- No receipt of refunds for assessment year 2006-07, 2008-09, 2009-10.

I have not received the refund for the year[protected],[protected],[protected].and when i have contacted the income tax department Vashi they have said that they have not received the papers transferred by Bangalore and they have asked us to contact at Bangalore only.

Even i have once again given all the documents to the Vashi department on[protected]th July 2010 .still i have not received any answer from them .even after that we had visited Vashi income tax 5 time but we are not getting any response from them.

So please look in to this matter and do the needful as early as possible.
