[Resolved]  Income Tax Pan Services Unit — Duplicate PAN card request not yet processed

Dear Team,
I would like to change my address in PAN records I have sent all details required by citing midldle name .ie not expanded even though it is there in SSC certificate they do not want to accept . After which I received response from NSDL pune office via mail saying needed proof of Fathers name. But there is no change in my fathers name still they need it. I sent twic wthrough courier still they are not satis fied, they donot under stand middle name it self is fathers name.

So I asked them to refer my Birth Certificated issued by Indian Goverment which they say can cannot accept. They need letter from Gazzet officer.?????
Is Birth certificate not an enough proof?????...

This is waste of time and unnecessary headach to consumers because of their ILLOGICAL RULES... DON'T KNOW WHO THE BRAINLESS CREATURE MADE IT...
ABOVE THAT THEY DON'T HAVE ESCALATION MATRIX WHERE WE CAN SEND OUR COMPLAINTS...
I think NSDL call center doesn't give complete information...

Also when I applied I ticked what all documents I will be providing... if same where not enough it should have said me then and there while applying not after doing all payment and follow-up...

Sir/Madam,

With reference to PAN Card No ANEPN9103C and my previous application No Nil dated 17 May 2011. It is intimated that PAN Card No ANEPN9103C issued to me from your office was misprinted my date of birth as 05 Mar 1988 instead of 05 Feb 1988 (Five Feb Nineteen eighty eight). Original PAN card has already been returned to your office vide my application dated 17 May 2011. The amended PAN Card has not yet been received so far.

You are requested to kindly amend my date of birth as[protected] FIVE FEB. NINETEEN EIGHTY EIGHT) and issue a fresh PAN Card at the earliest please.

NSDL people who do the PAN card details should USE THEIR BRAIN or LITTLE COMMONSENSE..
what ever legal document we produce for pan correction, they always say 'something is not matching'...
in my case, my name was misspelled on my card, hence i wanted a correction..but these are asking me to produce a letter
from gazette as a name change Proof. now i have decided NOT to change my name on my pan card & decided NOT to file tax this year.
i have all the proof of documents about these ... will meet them in court...

F people - no escalation mechanism..disgusting.
