Complaint:

Rajneesh Madhok, Registered Member, CORE, a Consumer Protection Organisation has filed this complaint against the Indian oil Corporation through its Chairman, General Manager (LPG-MO) and others.

The case is that the opposite party No. 1 to 11 are concerned with the distribution of the LPG Gas cylinders. Rajneesh Madhok had approached to the concerned officers and sent the Registerd Letter as well and requested the concerned authorities to deliver the LPG Gas cylinders to the above mentioned Connection Holders. But the said Gas agency has nothing to do with the requests of the consumers and do not reply to the requests of the Representative.

As the consumer is entitled to get the supply of a LPG cylinder of two cylinders in a month. But the said agency don’t make supply to them on various requests even. In this connection the SPEED POST LETTER No. EE[protected] IN DATED 02/02/2008 POSTED AT CHANDIGARH OFFICE FAILS TO SUPPLY THE LPG GAS CYLINDERS TO THE ABOVE MENTIONED CONNECTION HOLDERS.

The Ministry of Petroleum as well as the Ministry of Consumer Affairs shall ensure that all Marketing Companies do issue necessary instructions that the Distributors will provide to the consumers LPG Gas Cylinder within a stipulated time limit.

I pray to The Honourable Forum to direct the Indian Oil Corporation to pay a sum of Rs.50,000/- to the Complainant to meet the expenses incurred by it in protecting the interest of consumers and to continue to protect the interest of the consumers, within a period of four weeks.

We are still trying to get to them but they are unreachable as it seems. They are not even willing to answer the phone! We are trying from the last 24 hours. This kind of behaviour is prevailing for last few weeks and I am in a very upset state with the behaviour of even the high rank officials.

lindane — booking of LPG

Shahdra Delhi-110032 is having two telephones for booking of LPG but one telephone remains always busy and other one will be out of order. This is a regular phenomena of G.S.When complaint about this no satisfactory answer is ever given by them.

Indane — Misbehaviour

Sir,
I have the gas connection of Indane, customer no.JDS317, I have booked the gas on[protected], still waiting for it. When I queried about it the person at JANAK GAS, NAMNER ROAD, AGRA, they spoke harshly to me and said it will be delivered. Beside they supply gas of less quantity.
I request to look into the matter. Thanks

lindane — non availability of phone/mobile for gas booking

Indane agency M/S Chanderkala Indane, Dilshad colonySeema puri, Delhi, there phone no 22357242 is just kept busy unauthorsed way, and another mobile no [protected] with the staff is swuthed off. thus not possibility to book the gas by Phone, These acts done delibrately. My connection no. 15994.
May you help me to raise the complaint with Company and dealer.

lindane — Cylinder is not being supplied on time

I have a connection of Indane(consumer No. 14870) from Golden Gas Agency, Palam Vihar Gurgaon. I had booked the cylinder on the 13th of August and it has not been supplied as yet even after several calls to the agency. Every time we book the cylinder, the cylinder is not supplied on time. All the consumers are really frustrated because of this problem. When we try to call the agency most of the time we don't get thru...and even if we get thru...the phone is either not answered, engaged or put on hold. It is becoming really frustrating. I request you to look into the matter ASAP, as it is not only me who's facing this problem.
i'm mayank trivedi and my connection no is 8640 i have transfered to greater noida from noida, I went to kasna gas agency regarding for connection they said they need to verify the the transfer reciept issued by ranjan gas agency(noida) and its been over three week ihave not got the responce, i went to kasna gas agency they are asking me to go ranjan gas agency to inquire about the mail they have sent. it been 6 days i dont hav the gas . please help me in solving this matter

lindane — Unable to Book Cylinder refil

My Consumer No is 19395 with M/s Sindhu Enterprises, Dilshad Garden, Delhi - 110 095 His Telephone Nos are 22581881 & 22575960, since last one week both the telephone nos are getting busy, unable to book the cylinder, sent e-mail twice, but no reply nor the cylinder refil. pse do something, my second cylinder is also getting empty.

New LPG cylinder's Gas is leaking and I am not able to get it replaced as the distributor isn't responding.
Moreover, the emergency service cell isn't working. The status of the emergency service cell is "SWITCHED OFF". What kind of Emergency service cell is INDANE providing? I might have to take legal actions if the cylinder isn't replaced before tonight, as it is highly risky for me as well as the people living around.

Indane — DBC not available

Hello Sir/Madam,
My name is Rahul P. Shukla from Bangalore. I am having gas connection from Gajanana Enterprise, Koramangala 4th block (Consumer number 51371). I applied for a DBC in January first week 2008, but now thy are saying its closed in 2006 only and DBC not available. As I remember before some years, Indane dealers were dying for new customer in my native place. And now they are not able to handle customers.
If DBC was closed in 2006, then why the heck they didn't tell me when I was applying for that. Now they are saying it’s closed. Any how I am managing when my cylinder gets over.
Any Indane authorize person, Please listen this complain.
Otherwise as same with other government bodies, I m loosing my confidence in Indane too.

Indane — Empty Gas Cylinder

I have applied for empty gas cylinder on 28.04.07 and I have not received as on date. I am suffering alot in every 2 month. once if gas cylinder gets over then I have to put private gas cylinder because I don't have the spare one and I have to continue that until I get refiled one with Indane. So i request you to kindly provied me a empty gas cylinder as early as possible.

Indane — DELAY IN DELIVERY OF REFILL CYLINDER

I booked the gase on 27th Sep 2008 at Raj Flame Mohan garden Uttam Nagar, but it is not deliverd by 4th oct. Our booking no is - 77607

Booking is not possible by phone because here phone has not picked up.
i have indian oil gas connection (dealer city gas chandigarh, sector 37). i have not booked my gas cyclinder within six month because i m out of station.
after coming chandigarh, when i booked my gas cyclinder, dealer says that my connection is disconnect.
so u pls submit a letter to indian oil office for release of gas connection. why without any notice, my connection is disconnet.
and no any such rule is mentionedin condition

since last 2 years the telephone nos 22357242/22357295 remains busy/out of order when we book on 1260 it takes more than 15 days to deliver the cylinder when we visited the office of chandrakala they behave in very rude way
I am resident of Mayur Vihar Phase 3.

I applied for new gas connection on 23/06/2008. Even after 4 months, I have not get the gas connection.

lindane — IRREGULAR SUPPLY OF DOMESTIC GAS SUPPLY

Dear Sir/Madam,

CUSTOMER ID:41604 NAME: UMA MAHESWARI R

We are suppose to received gas as per your company norms 21 days and our due date last month 10.09.2008 and inspite of several call to Distributor they have not supplied upto 23.09.2008 before 1.30 p.m. When I asked them they say they don't have stock and ask us to make complaint to IOC Customer Care and I made a complanit to you Customer Care at 2.40 p.m and your representative (Mr. Karthik) say it will be delivered before 5 p.m and subsiquently they have delivered. In the receipt they have mentioned the Order Date 12.09.2008 booking date 10.09.2008 but they have delivered on 23.09.2008 and the delivery man also mentioned in the Book stating that expected delivery date 10.09.2008 but delivered on 23.09.2008. They have already delayed 42 days. Now we have made booking on 11.10.2008 and the Delaer say it will be delivered on 13.09.2008. But till date we have not received and we have enquired you delaer and they say we will take booking of today and they will delivered the Cyclinder within 10 days. Due think is it reasonable ? Your dealer purposly delaying the supply beacuase we make complanit to IOC. It is mean your customers are not make any complaint to IOC and if they make they will punished. In such case why your people publishing ad in New Papaer to request people to make complaint if the delivery delayed. What is the fun in issuing such kind of Ad. Now I understand that your dealer is not in your control and you are in dealers control. For you information your customer care Telephone nos are simple useless becuase your try 2 days and we will get one time.

Plase inform whether your dealers is in your control or not ?
If you don't replay for the mail I will assume that you are not interested to solve the proble and henceforth we will not make any complaint to you.

NOTE: Please note that this connection is in my wife name. After receiving the new connection I too received a letter from IOC in my name for new connection but I have surrendered the second connection to IOC.
Dear sir/madam
I am a regular custamer of indian gas, parvati gas service siwan (Bihar). Today I went there for booking of cylinder but they(dealer) simply refused to for booking with the statement that, It is the rule made by indian oil first buy a hoss pipe then booking of cylinder is possible otherwise they will not provide the conection. They have mentioned in the blue book" Bina hoss pipe liye booking nahi ho payega" also.
