[Resolved]  Indane — non delivery of gas in time and manipulation of records and unfriendly behavior on the part of distributor

Sir, I have booked for gas on 05/02/2008 over telephone and the distributer(J K Agencies, parrassala,thiruvananthapuram district) did not supply gas till 06/03/2008.when i have enquired over telephone in the morning of 06/03/08 the distributer told me that as i have not produced Ration card for verification gas can't be supplied to me. So in the afternoon i went to the distributer's office and given my ration card.At that time the distributer informed me that gas was issued on 14/02/08 but the delivery boy could not deliver the same due to locking of door. but i informed the distributer that in the home my old mother will allways be there and even if it is locked on that particular day you had to either supply it the next day or to inform me the position. On enquiery it is found that the distributer is applying the same techninique in case of everybody and smuggling a good amount of cylinders. To justify his position he is showing a self generated statement in his computer .Usually the poor people of this boarder village belive it . when i have not agree his version he shoutted at me saying that there are officers to look after the things. i have registered a complaint in the complaint register kept at his office. In this locality LPG cylinders meant for domestic use are largely used in commercial centers like restaurants. And indane cyliners are commolny sold by private retailers at exorbitant price. this kind of a malpractice is not possiblie without the help of some corrupt officials also. Immediate action may be taken to ensure prompt delivery of cylinders and to stop all malpractices in this.

1. Ever since the inception of the Mobile Booking
System, I rarely get my Refill cylinder on my own Booking. Whenever I Book
through Mobile, the agency (distributor) cancels it after a few days without
assigning any reason. After that, they (the agency and its staff) never respond
to telephone calls and as a result we have to go and face them. Then they Book
it for us and Deliver after a few days; as a result we get it after a month or
more of our own (actual) Booking. Why it happens every time? It losses the very
purpose of Mobile Booking System.
