[Resolved]  Indane Gas — Bad service & Irresponsible behaviour - Indane gas distributer KK enterprises

To whomsover it may concern,

This is to bring to your notice that the Indane gas agency - KK enterprises at HSR layout Bangalore has very bad customer service & the proprietor has a very callous & irresponsible behavior towards customers. In fact, in the last 1 year that I have been a customer in this agency, I have had to go myself and get the gas cylinder myself except in one case. The agency is not reachable most of the time as the phone is busy or when I finally reached them over the phone (1-2 times over the last one year), I was arrogantly told that it will come in 2 weeks & but the gas never turned up. When I went there myself, I came across another very irritated customer who had a similar complaint.

The one case when the gas was delivered home, we had offerred Rs 10 as a courtesy for the delivery but there were two people and they were rather rude and demanded more money as delivery charges.

I wish that appropriate action is taken against this agency and better service is enabled. Would be thankful if IOC can salvage something and not let its distributers do whatever they like.

Indane Gas — Severe Delay In service & Irresponsible Customer Handling

Dear Sir,

We are an existing consumer ( of the INDANE GAS and our GAS Agency Name is "GAS & Novelties", Serampore, Hooghly, Phone :[protected].

It is bring in notice that for last couple of months there has been a severe delay in gas supply despite of complaining within schedules 15/20 days which keeps on varying. Again it was said to delayed for at least 20 days from date of booking 27.02.2008.

The important point is that the Agency administration does not care to talk politely when a customers calls up and shuts down the telephone receiver without properly uttering couple of specific information or the reason delay.

This is the same old story of indian-way of working...I dont understand why indian industries dont pay any importance to time...things have not been changed even after the onlinzation of the entire booking, tracking process...I dont know when the day would come when we will start taking things seriously.

LPG GAS Indane — Irresponsible service

Dear Sir,
My consumer number 14936A is with Kalkaji Gas Services. They have two telephone numbers 26020108/26039868. The numbers are rarely attended and if at all attended it is only between 0930 hours to maximum 1100 hrs. Their services are poor and also they never supplied the gas immediately and take their own time even though there is no shortage of LPG. You may please advise the owner to address customer problems with responsibility and also attend phone calls during the entire working hours.

Actually i have a gas connection with indane gas for more than 3years, but unfortunately i did not book the cylinder since 10months bec i had to move out of bangalore all of a sudden due to my buisness demand!! Now i am back and would like to continue using the same old connection. When i called to book a gas cylinder they ignored saying its too late now...when i asked how should i proceed to get back my same old connection, the person who spoke to me was so rude in his presentation that he just did not utter a word and disconnected the call by shouting that its cancelled...Could anyone please help me out of this problem...i am presently having my breakfast, lunch and dinner outside since theirs no gas at home...Hope to receive a respone on how to sort out this problem, at the earliest!!

I have a complain for your Indane Gas service man in our local area (Vistar Nagar, Fartilizer Road, Near Bargadwa Chouraha, Gorakhpur, U.P.). Your distributer distributing us broked sealed & low volume gas (low weight which is less than 30 Kg) cylinders after warning. And also when we asked him for customer complain service number which is privided by "Indane Gas", he avoid it and not gave the number.

Please treat this problem and pls mail me your customer complain service number.

Indane Cooking Gas — Irresponsible behaviour in the supply of gas cylinders.

Subject: The unprofessional and totaly unpardonable behavior of your distributor in terms of performing their duty in a very essential and vital service like this and the lack of accountability and easy going attitude till date.

It is totally unfortunate to do this extreme step to a company who is always known for it's best practices in prompt product and service delivery like Indane. The distributor of Indane; Netaji Gas Agencies, Nedumangadu, Thiruvananthapuam, in previous also known for it's deviant way of carrying services and has the history of being de listed earlier; unfortunately i am a customer of that agency, J.Rahiyanath Vaheed, Venjaramood p.o, Thiruvananthapuram, Consumer no: NC 23421.

I had booked for gas cylinder in[protected], 47 days for service delivery it's shameful and totally ridiculous, is it the companies next practice, a plain violation of all the rules i don't know what to say as a customer this is totally embarrassing. No one is showing even the minimum curtsy to take the phone or to revert properly. I fear some sort of foul plays from there part as they had booked earlier for that, best of my knowledge as of now there is no critical supply or distribution bottle neck for this 47 days delay for an essential service. As a customer this my desperate move and bringing it to your notice is the last resort before going to extreme steps. I don't no this particular issue comes under the purview of your sphere of activity. Kindly extend your help to solve this crisis. Anticipating your kind reply.

Definetely, KK Indane Enterprises, HSR Layout, Bangalore is probably one of the worst Indane gas service provider in India we have encountered in the past 30 years. The delivery is pathetic in fact I feel they do not have any delivery system at all. Most of the customers come to their office and pick the cylinder as the last resort without any option left. Worst of all is the false promises where they mention that they will deliver in one week, sometimes 2 weeks...so on, but it never turns up.

Their phones is always engaged (may be they have a call center business running in parallel) Even if customers go to their office, they are extremely rude and customer insensitive. I think if there is survey from this distributor on these irregularities, I am sure more than 95% would agree with the points mentioned above.

IOC should take serious note of this harassment and take a positive action to solve the customer issues. Request IOC to take some action against this distributor and make the customer have a better service.

Indane Gas — Irresponsible Service by the local agent

Dear Sir / Madam,

I am Babu from Tirupur / Tamil Nadu. I have INDANE GAS connection (customer no: 27443) with Sri Srinivas Gas Service / Anupparpalayam / Tirupur / Distributor code 3526403.

Even though M/s.Sri Srinivas Gas service has three phone lines, They dont pick up phone calls even after several times we try . So I got fet up with their irresponsible service .

I have booked refill cylinder this time through SMS on 16/03/2009 and i suppose to get a cylinder within
15 days time normally but i have not received the refill cylinder so far. When i have gone to M/s. Sri Srinivas gas service office to ask the reason for delay, They says my sms had error and booking couldn't be done which they informing me after 17 days that too when i visit their office . At least
they should have made a system to inform the customer about errors and fault as soon as it happen.
So that we could use alternative way of booking and can avoid delay.

But please note that i have booked the cylinder last time with the same sms method and i had got the cylinder in time.

Please note that i have only one cylinder connection without additional. I have family with 3yr old kid
and if we dont have gas for cooking it is really a nightmare to manage the kitchen as we would not even able to boil milk or water which is very very essential things at home.

It is really pathetic the way these people behave to the customer. They really dont care about the customer's difficulties. Hence i request you to make a strong action against these people, so that the customer will not suffer due to negligence of the distributors.

they did not get the phone always
Myself also booked with the same agency on 11th september 2009 and recd. the booking number within a day but not yet recd. the cylinder already 18days over. (29/9/09) Last week i checked with the agency they told that you will receive it within one or 2 days. But i didn't get the cylinder after 4-5days. Their reply also irresponsible. They don't care about the customers difficulties. So, some action should taken against this agency.

1. In all India please put a toll free number
2. Like a small companies staff doing not pick up …why u people doing this type of behavior

Only thing i want to know is the delivery charge. I was charged extra 15 Rs which was not included in the bill i received from the gas agency. If the company is charging it then why it is not included in the bill. And if the deivery boys are doing this then what is the company doing to stop it.

corrupt distributor .distributor at bewar in mainpuri (uttar pradesh)khiladi gas service
is very corrupt.he sales the shelender in black due to this problem customers face difficulty .villagers are mostly face the problems.so i want to say respectfully that this problem should be examined or other agency should be placed at bewar .

I am Anjali Dey, C/o, Sri Jayanta Kumar Dey a Sr. Citizen my Consumer No. 7361 for Indane Gas registered under the dealer FAIR DEAL GAS CORNER, of 16/1A, CREEK ROW, KOLKATA-700014 had booked for a supply a cylinder vide ducat no. 203994 dated 04.07.2011 but unfortunately after waiting for a long period when gas was not supplied I had again booked on your online service and the ducat no. was 208703 dated 04.08.2011, but the result was same. Then I had sent my daughter for enquiry in the dealer’s showroom, the dealer intimated that due to wrong procedure of booking the delivery could not be made. However, my daughter once again had booked on your online service and the ducat no. provided to me is 210266 dated 17.08.2011, after the said booking from your office a confirmation sms have been received by me with your assurance of supplying the cylinder soon. Despite again waiting a long period my daughter visited the dealer’s shop and when she had enquired about the delay the dealer misbehaved with my daughter and failed to assure the probable date of delivery of the gas cylinder. Please note myself is an old lady with my husband in very critical lying in the bed. Now suffering for cooking our foods. Hence, I request you to kindly look into the matter sympathetically and arrange for immediate delivery of the gas cylinder and oblige.
Further to the above please also note that this type of behavior and irregular supplies had become a regular feature of the said dealer. For your more knowledge in the matter you can enquire with the customers of the said dealer and gate my complaint confirmed.
Hope, you will take necessary action in the matter promptly with intimation to me.

My indane lpg service provider is Asha Gas Service Deoria U P in Gorakhpur region.My customer no. is 30974. Expected dt. of dly for my gas booking was19/11/11 memo no.9313 but that was not delivered.Again complaints were lodged to service providers office on dates 30/11/11, 12/12/11, 19/12/11&22/12/11 but gas cylinder is not delivered.all numbers are either unattended on call or for sms.Such service providers may suit to company but not to consumer.
