[Resolved]  Indane Gas Supply — No supply of gas inspite of repeated reminders.

My consumer number is 65646 at cooking gas agency, 3A malvia Avenue, Thiruvanmayur, chennai. this agency is indane gas supply agency. I have booked gas more than 15 days back and have not yet received the refill cylinder. The unfortunate part is that inspite of my repeated reminders the agency has not supplied gas and in person my son went twice to request for the gas. Also the strange thing about this agency is that it does not give us the booking number on booking. this could lead to lot of malpractice and preferential supply to commercial users instead of real domestic users. request to look into the matter and ensure that this agency gives atleast the booking number on booking of gas so as to have proper monitoring and quick follow-n

Indane Gas Supply — Not receiving gas cylinder

My Indane Gas Consumer number is 9375 based at Bhopal. My wife has booked the Gas cylinder refilling request on 28/29th Jan 2008 with Indane Distributor Rajiv Enterprises, Nehru Nagar Bhopal with the Booking number 169. We have not yet received the refilled gas cylinder. Either their telephone is busy or it is informed that your house was locked and hence it could not be delivered. Today when I visited their office I found that there was long que outside and some consumers were only allowed inside ans was bolted from inside. The staff was not opening the door and when I persisited to open and answer my querry, I was told that the booking was made only on Feb 12, 2008 in an uncivilised language.
Then I tried to call the Indane Office in Bhopal. The cell number displayed at the distributor office ([protected]) is informed to be wrong. Then I requested Bhopal Telephone enquiry and was given two land line numbers - 2557878 and 2554615. The first number was wrong and the second did not reply for about half an hour between 1030 and 1100 hrs today.
Finally I had to make this complain.
I hope Indane will take cognisance of this complain and ensure that its consumers are not harrased like this and receive regular supply of
I am not receving refilled gas (Indane)cylinder before 16-22 days after booking everytime. I have a connection at Golden Gas Agency at Palam vihar, Gurgaon, Haryana. Everytime I used to go to the dealer's office and requset for the same. Every customer fell the same problem and nobody is satisfied with dealer's service.

Indane Gas Supply — The Agent's phones are always off hook

Sri Rama Agencies seem to be leaving the receivers off the hook and unable to reach. Just prior to 9 am when they are expected to open, all the phones ring. After 9 am, you get a message from all the lines that the phone is busy. Even if it rings, they seem to allow it to ring and get disconnected automatically and when you try once again, the line is busy! Obviously the line which they left on the hook by mistake, and rang, is taken off and left. This happens with all the lines - BSNL, TATA Indicom, AirTel lines. This way, your request for a refill gets delayed and that delays delivery and the next time you ask for a refill, naturally some times it is within 30 days, because you could not lodge the refill request earlier.

Indane should insist all their agents to have a phone booking facility so that we can book for refills 24 x 7. They need to have a system similar to the phone complaint booking and once you boo, you must get a booking number and they should deliver as per those.

Will Indane move towards this if they really intend to provide good customer service?

Indane Gas — Delay in getting Cooking gas due to malpractice

I'm Augustus David, resident of Vimala Bhavan, Lourdpuram, Kanjiramkulam Trivandrum , Kerala. My consumer number is LA 16702 with J K Gas Parashala, Near Thiruvananthapuram . (This Agency had delivered gas at my residence on 28th March, 8th June, and 20th July)

I made a booking 0n 22/7/2009 and the No. is 11552. So far I have not received any gas supply. It is almost impossible to get them on line . And when I was lucky enough to get in touch with them, they informed me that they had brought the gas to my house sometime in August but there was nobody at home. That is not true as my mother and other family memebers are at home, even when I go to work. I managed to call them again and again since Mid August. They have been promising to supply the gas 'in the next couple of days'. This has been going on for over a month,without any effect.
Disappointed with the lack of any positive response from the agency, I contacted the field officer Mr Ramachandran on Tel [protected], and his response was even more negative, and I felt he was part of the problem rather than the solution.He told me not to complain as supply may take much more than just two months .( However, I am told gas cylinders are readily available in these areas if one is prepared to shell out Rs 500/ or more.)

Under these circumstances, I am forced make this complaint. Kindly instruct the Gas Agency, (J K Gas, Parashala Thiruvananthapuram) to effect the supply of Gas Cylinder to me at the earliest, and ask them not to trouble IOC customers endlessly in this manner .

Indane Gas Supply — cylinder in black market

Dear Sir
I am consumer of Indane gas at P.S. Goplanagar. Bongaon. North 24 Pgs. Aur Indane gas agent is Anupam halder at gopalnagar. we are suffering for insufficiency of gas supply, on the other hand, in black market he is selling cylinder a huge [protected]@ Rs. 550/- per cylinder.
We hope that you will take the necessery action as soon as possible.

Indane Gas — Delay in refilling of Gas cylinder inspite of repeated requests

Dear Sir,

I am consumer of Indane Gas and my connection No. is PGA 1321 and I had booked my refill on 15/09/2009, which is required to delivered within a week, but inspite of repeated request the concerned distributor has not supplied till today and lingering the matter with one and another false pretext, and even the distributor has not appointed any delivery men intentionally and willfully for the reason best known to them. Strict action please be taken to ensure the proper and hassle free supply of gas by the distributor.

Indane Gas — Non Delivery after repeated reminders

Dear Concerns,
I am indane customer with consumer No.9337 of ILA gas agency.This agency has now been closed and now our agency is kasna gas agency since last 2-3 months we are facing problems in supplies...I have booked gas on 16th Nov'09 on[protected] and i was given booking number 58....On 22nd Nov,i had enquired about delivery of gas on [protected] but we were informed that your have not booked for cylender so again booked it and i was informed that with in 3 days you will recieve the delivery....On 25th Nov'09, i have registered my complaint with customer care at [protected] and i was given complaint number-28048 and again given a commitment that gas will be delivered by 28thNov'09....Today is 29th and till date i have not recieved Gas.

Since last 14days i am running out of domestic gas and nobody is thr to provide solution.....Even helpline numbers of kasna gas are always busy or it seems that most of the time, they might keep the reciever of the phone.

Please help and provide permanent solution.

Indane Gas — no delivery of gas cylinder with repeated requests

my consumer number is 6584 at VARMA GAS AGENCY, PARAVOOR. I booked for the cylinder on February 25. On March 27th the agency informed me that booking was not registered. I booked once again on the same day (25th March). No delivery till date.
