I am a customer of Indane Gas past 6 yrs. I get my gas service from Vishnu Gas Agency, Kadugodi Whitefield, Bangalore. We have booked our gas two weeks before and then they said delivery will be within 3 days. We did not get the delivery and since then we are trying to reach them on their contact numbers but most of the time, a recorded msg comes which says this telephone line is not working. But, when i tried in mornings, twice i got the connection ie phone was ringing but no one picked up. When i tried again, i got the same recorded msg that phon not working. This seems very fishy. First, their none of the phones are working past two weeks so we cant contact them. Also, in between how we get the connection and no one picks up. (the numbers are 28454811/28454312/28454311 with std code for bangalore 080) This is bringing lot of mental stress as we are without gas past one week and eating outside. We might even get sick this way. I dont know how to contact the agency or lodge a complaint to Indane gas regarding this. I get my gas service from Vishnu Gas Agency, Kadugodi Whitefield, Bangalore.
the contact numbers are 28454811/28454312/28454311 are always out of order or not a valid number. I cannot book the gas over the phone on time.I stay 20km away from the Agency office and its not possible for me to go to Agency every time.

I think I should now change the from Indane to HP gas services.OR some necessary action to be taken against Vishnu gas agency.

I think some serious action should be taken against Vishnu Gas Agency in Kadugodi, Whitefield because there is always no response when you dial the 2 no.s provided. A person in urgent need for Gas suffers badly.
Either there should be internet booking or voice mail booking if the employess are so lethargic/lazy in picking up the calls.
I would rate them poor in Customer service

Vishnu gas agency has the worst service . I am trying to call Vishnu gas agency for the past 2 days from 10.A.M in the morning but both the phone lines are continuously engaged. Thrice the numbers rang but then nobody picked up. This is not the first time. Every time i try to book my gas it is the same story. Either the numbers do not work or are continuously engaged. Also when i get the gas, the delivery person does not return the change. they always demand Rs 15-20 as delivery charges. I have paid them to avoid problems in future.
It is absolutely frustrating. Does writing a complaint here help?

This is the Indane Gas LPG related services toll free number.

"In case you have any query on any LPG related services or any complaints on services provided by IndianOil in LPG marketing, please contact on the 24-hour All-India Toll-Free Number: [protected]. The customers have the facility to call on the All-India Toll-Free Number without adding any cost to their telephone bills. "

Ofcourse we know that IOL also will not do anything, but when complaints raise to peak, they will take action on this agency. Make sure you complain so that we will not face the problem again and again.

Sri Vishnu Gas Agencies, Kadugodi — Unable to reach the agencies over phone

My IOCL consumer number is [protected].

My complaint is regarding reaching Vishnu Agencies, Kadugodi, Bangalore over phone.

He is the only dealer around this area and I find it very difficult to reach him in all the numbers provided by them.

Please don't expect people to go and appear in person to book for a refill cylinder.

IOCL must come strong on these agencies. IOCL must also look forward to computerize this process, as the individual agencies may not be sophisticated enough.

Yes, even I had came across the same situation as you do. I had ordered for gas three weeks back and I haven't received the gas yet. I had tried calling them more then 65 to 75 times. But not even single guy seems to be there to answer my call.

I am so frustrated and I feel some times why would a reputable company like Indane has not taken action yet against these people.

The MOST disappointed service that I had ever came across is from 'Vishnu gas agency, Bangalore'

Agree. There no never be picked and they charge high on delivery.
I am not able to understand that why for such a big area only one service agency has been put by IOL whereas other Gas provider has many offices to catter same area. This also shows the careleassness from IOL side also.

Now a days getting a Gas connection also a nightmare and switching to new one is not possible so easily.

Request some body to help us!!!

The number for the Indane Gas Agency at Whitefield is no longer 28454811. The phone company has now made me the rightful owner of this phone number - and I've been getting tons of phone calls (obviously redirected traffic from this web site), literally giving me a runaround!

Time for me to get the phone company to change my phone number :-)

Vishnu Gas agency has provided two numbers for Inquiry and Booking. Most of the times they either dont work, comes busy or nobody attends if it rings. Definitely there is serious problem. We request the authorized to take action against them.

Since Gas is the basic requiremnt and without which we cant cook. If nobody attends the call, how would we get the supply. rRght now we dont have gas at home and nobody responds to the calls we make. I have a small baby at home and having no gas at home is going to be a major problem for us.

Kindly take regid action against Vishnu Gas agencies, Kadugodi, located near whitefield.

Same opinion. All the numbers provided either dont work, comes busy or nobody attends if it rings. Definitely there is serious problem. We need to bring this out to public and also to the notice of the required officials to take action against Vishnu gas agencies. Until unless all o[censored]s facing the same problem come together and take some action, nothing is going to change.

Personally i feel, we should fix up a date and time and go together to the agency and enquire together. Going by individual is of no help as they give irrelevant reasosns. If everybody is fine, can we have this plan for 24th Jul, 2010 at 10.00AM sharp.

I totally agree with everybody. Even I am trying to contact Vishnu Gas Agency to book a gas cylinder through phone from last 3days but all my efforts gone in vein. Either I get a busy tone or nobody will respond to the ring.
Just wanted to know from the group what action you all had taken to book your gas cylinder?

Agree. I have moved to Whitefield recently and started taking gas from them for the last 2 months. Every month they delay the delivery and the delivery person come and ask for more money, which we don't give. This month they have not sent anyone even after more than a week of putting request. Very poor service. Is there any other service provider in Whitefield.

Totally agree.
No body attends the call for booking. This is a serious concern for the management and should be addressed at the earliest.
They just draw salary for doing NOTHING.

It seems customer care of IOC is pretty much same as the agency in question. They both are PATHETIC. After holding on to the line to complian about the agency for 5 mins the chap on the other end says that they are not responsible if agency not picking the calls you to have go yourself. Whats wrong here does IOC think i have to ride 20 kms from my house everytime i require cooking gas. I pressed on with my issue still and after convincing him he vanished in the thin air. I don think there is anything with vishnu they are simpy emulating his supplier.
