[Resolved]  India Gifts Portal — Damaged Product Sent. Customer Service doesn't call back

I sent a $75 Remore Controlled Ferrari car (was advertised as a licensed 1:18 replica) as a surprise gift to my nephew. They spoilt the surprise and did not deliver on the day they promised. Once the package arrived the product was damaged. DTDC is not at fault as the packing seems intact and the damage was not in transit. India Gifts Portal seems to have shipped a used/returned damaged product.

-- The is not a licensed replica.
-- The car has scratches all over and looks like someone has used and abused it.
-- The wheels looks bent
-- We are scared it may fall apart and have not even opened up leave alone testing to see if the damn lemon works.
-- Asif Jafar mails back once in 2 days and is forcing us to accept a replacement. I already had to have a friend get a new gift. Try telling an anxious 5 year old to wait till India Gift Portal sends a replacement in 2 weeks ! Also I'm sure they will send another crappy product..
-- I got a call from 91-[protected] ; the caller was rude and kept saying everything is fine. IT IS NOT !If I call back he keeps hanging up. He will not even say his name or give a contact number where I can call them.

I left a review on India Gift Portal's Facebook page. I will write a blog post on this too. I am pissed. They gave me a bad product and it is damaged as well. I want a refund.

I have had such bad experiences with these guys that I will never send any gifts to India online. Indian merchants are cheats. I would pay if they charged me and delivered a good product. These just want to fleece you. Forget the customer, customer service or the fact that customers will not come back. They are rotten scoundrels
I have also just faced the same problem. They are not responding to mails and neither is the customer care picking my number.

I dont understand whats happening. indiagiftsportal people are cheats!
I had same bad experince. I ordered a Rakhi Package to be sent to USA. Rakhi is tomorrow order has not reached yet. There phone is just to fool other no one picks up the phone. I kept trying hours but its either engaged, busy or no one picks it up. I left email messages and enquiries, but no response. They used to be okay but this year they have planned to cheat everyone. I want my money back I am going to report. Please guide me where can we report for these people.
Same with me. I ordered Rakhi to be sent to India on 11 aug, the order has not reached yet. It's too bad as I asked my sister not to go to office to collect the order. Please guide where to complain.

Even it happend the same with me too, I ordered a glass product with globe around and small kids sitting under tree, but they have sent me wrong product with two pigs sitting under tree and i see water from globe is also leaking and the product looks like used crappy. I ordered it for some one spl but it went for toss. I cant gift my best friend piggies. Its so pathetic. If they cant deliver something good then better shut their portal off. I am really upset iwth this carelessness of Indiagifts portal. I wish would have seen your comments before...

but still i cant get any information about that. I try to track the courier but the site is not opening. Is that your Customer service. Or Your site is Fake huh????????????

I too had a similar experience. more than 20 days now and still dint the gift. Noone is answering the customer service number.
Once i went through the call and they kept saying that the problem is with their vendor and if required, they are even ready to cancel it.

Does anyone monitoring this site? if so, put a full stop to this. more than money getting wasted, the gifts we send with love is not delivered on time.
That gives a headache. What kind of support are they providing. WORST SITE... BEWARE of IGP...

I decided to stay awake to match the timings of their customer service. After a minimum of 10 call failures, I got hold of Asif Jafar, customer service agent. He was extremely courteous and highly promising. Unfortunately, all my hopes and expectations were proved incorrect. That was the first and last time, I was able to get hold of him. I believe my phone number was blocked (does Telecom companies in India offer such "facilities"?). Anyhow, I persisted sending emails. No response.
Today, I called up my bank and complained and Thanks to my bank, they returned my money with a dispute case lodged against India gifts portal.


Not even for enemy would I recommend this portal. Watch out folks!!
I had a worst experience wit Indian gifts portal. They have not delivered the product as displayed. When complained about it they initially refused to accept and later made me send numerous emails asking for photos of the product. I send everything that was requested however no solution till date, infact, they have stopped replying to my emails. Such online portal should be granted permission to run online business as they do not deserve and are least bothered about the customer service.

I ordered a cake for my mother on mother' s day which was supposed to be delivered on May 11 th and it' was never delivered. When I called the customer care. A lady named lovely said it shows your order is pending but it is delivered. It is a system glitch. I told her it was never received. And then, I asked for the person I can complaint, she gave a cell phone number for the person named Ms. Kavita who promised me to find out the reason and get back to me in an hour and she never did. These people are here to just digest our money and do fraudulent business, they have no business ethics and could care less about their customer's sentiments. Now, nothing we just have written a complaint and I don't even know if there would any action on these people or not. They will not get my business anymore plus I suggested lit of my friends this website, I will spread the word that this is a fraud company, they better don't get into the mess. At least do some good to others.

INDIA GiFT PORTAL are SUCKERS.
We ordered fresh fruit basket number - IGP591395. The delivery was for mother-in-law birthday in Gwalior. Indian Gifts Portal delivered 1kg rotten apple and 1kg rotten orange. The deivery man was not ready to listen and ran away. When we called the number in Gwalior, he said 'Sorry' and that was it. I called their customer service number, and instead of connecting the call, they disconnected. This was really not expected... Shame on the customer care center and fresh delivery.
I was very dissatisfied with the way these guys delivered the product. There was not even a proper label attached to the bouquet. And nothing was written on the cake as well. Instead they sent a torn piece of paper written rubbish on it.

I am highly disappointed and unhappy with my experience with your online gifts service. I stay in the U.S. And had placed a order on 26th of July which was supposed to be a present for my sister's birthday in India. The website showed that my order will be delivered on 26th itself looking at the time difference between US and India. Today it's two weeks from when I had placed my order and my order has still not been delivered. I had to specially stay awake till late so that I could call at your coustomer care number and inquire about my order and it was not worth it at all(I did that 4 times). Every time I called, the representatives gave me very unprofessional and unreliable awnsers which obviously were a lie as all the promises they made neverever got done. It was really embarrassing for me to keep my sister updated with all this nuisance and finally I decided to cancel the order. Now I have been told by your coustomer care representative that I will be getting my refund after 10 days. I have never seen a website who takes 10 days to make a refund. I don't know if my feedback will be given any respect or will be replied but it's my duty to let you guys know the inconvenience you guys have made me go through. You guys have forced me to write and share my experimce of Indian Gifts Portal on the Internet and with my friends. I will make sure that no one who I know will ever order anything from your website. Thank you for your service and please refund me my money ASAP.
I ad ordered rakhi and the money got transacted twice how will i get that cash back.
