India Times Shopping — Faulty Product Sent

Address:Mumbai City, Maharashtra

I have bought Blackberry 8900 from www.shopping.indiatimes.com on 16th of November 2010 and they have delivered a product on 19th Nov 2010.

First it was not a sealed product. Later when i opened the box, i found that , it was a faulty product, which was given to me. It had scratches on phone and on Charger (They have given me a used product)

I have made compliant 20th November 2010 morning at customer care of Indiatimes, they said , they will send someone to pick the it back and replace with sealed product.

On repeated attempts of phone calls every day to the customer care, they have not arranged to pick the product back (till 27th November)

I have also requested to pick their product back and refund my money, so that i can buy a new piece from normal stores outside. Initally, they said, that can be done after we submit a Airway bill number (for reverse pick up). Today again 27th Nov, when i again contacted, they are saying, they cannot refund the money for the faulty product and will have to adjust with the same.

Everyday i am calling the customer care from last 8 days and still there they are least bothered to take action on this.

I have spend around Rs. 14200/- and India times is least bothered about their customers and their money. They are taking their customer and their money for a ride.

Stringent action has to be taken against Indiatimes for sending such kind of faulty pieces and cheating people.

(I would recommend NOT to BUY any product from Indiatimes Shopping, they are public / consumer cheaters)
