I am central govt. employee. I availed All India LTC for the block year 2006-09 from Hyderabad to Nathula Pass, Sikkim and back. I am entitled for air travel from Hyderabad - Kolkata - Bagdogra and back. I travelled from Bagdogra - Nathula Pass - Bagdogra by private taxi recognised by the Sikkim Toursim department. I have submitted a certificate issued by the Sikkim Toursim department that there is no public transport between Bagdogra - Nathula Pass - Bagdogra. I have paid an amount of Rs.4, 500/- for the taxi. I am eligible for travelling by taxi as my grade pay is Rs.4, 600/-. But my dept. disallowed the road journney fares completely. Please clarify whether I am entitled to get the reimbursement for the paid taxi fares.
Air India is giving only LTC 80 Scheme dtd 06. jan 2009 and the fare charged by Authorized agent Balmer lawrie is more. They have given certificate that the fuel charges etc raised as such fare is charged as per air india.I travelled during September 2009.
I am facing the same problem. I am informed that Air India has revised the LTC-80 fare in January, 2010 but you are displaying the same old fares on the web. Kindly display the revised rates on the web so that the problem being faced is settled and the government departments stop reimbursing the fare at old rates i.e. the fare that was fixed on[protected].
i am a central govt. employee. i have availed ltc from jaipur to kanyakumari and booked airindia flieght from jaipur to delhi and delhi to chennai and back coimbatore to delhi under ltc80 fare.airindia charged the following fare;-
jaipur todelhi765+229+2350, delhi to cheenai-3040+429+3100 and coimbator to Delhi-4080+229=3100.but, my office has passed the fare from jaipur to chennai vai mumbai and coimbator to delhi as per fare given under order dated 06.01.09. there is differece of rate under ins.yq(surcharge) chared by airindia and the order issued by the govt. dated 06.01.09. so, please supply the rate list of surcharge to be paid on dated 19.12.2009 to 29.12.2009.
Hi,

I am also facing the same problem.
Please revise the air india LTC 80 fares as per the actual amount charged by air india.Kindly display the revised rates on the web so that the problem being faced is settled and the government departments stop reimbursing the fare at old rates.

Regards,

Air India, please come forward and circulate revised LTC 80 Fare list to all Govt offices to help govt employees from this problem which is causing unnecessary finanial loss to them for non of their faults. This is a created problem which adversely reflects on your efficiency and shows how lethargic is your administration .
I am also availing kolkata to guwahati LTC-80 fare. But as per 6th Jan fare chart published by Indian airlines which is supposed to be the latest fare fare is only 2575/- whereas on 23rd March the fare is 3730/- when I asked the Indian airline operator but new fare chart is not available in the net. So Our office is following the old rate only and passing it. I am at financial loss.
can u give me the details if LTC 80 is same as LTC Q
LTC80 fare list must be updated continuously to avoid problem faced by Central Govt employee. Thank you.
please inform me.
1. The list of fares as published on the website of Air India, as on Dec 2008 is out dated/old and has not been updated since long. One of my collegue enquired from the Air India office Kolkata, the fares for Kolkata -Delhi Sector, he was surprised to find that the fare published in the list of the web site was almost Rs 800/- less than communicated by the Air India office, KolKata.
2. May I request you to kindly help me with the latest fare under LTC-80 in KOLKATA-PORT BLAIR sector after consulting Air India office.
all central govt officials having the same problem but still now air india or ministry of finance exp-co-ordination div sleeping. simple problem they are not able to solvw then who wiil solve it
I am going to travel from Ahmedabad to Bagdogara by indian airlines. I have same problem my tickets booked under LTC Q class from Delhi - Bagdogara & same as return journey. My office restricted me as per old LTC 80 fare. I dont get the difference between LTC 80 & LTC Q class
disagree
All LTC fair charged by Air India under LTC80 are fully reimbursed. Send ur bills to Principal a/c office tech. branch 4 clarification through ur PAO. u will definitely get justice
Everyone proceeding on LTC by AIR should ensure that in the ticket LTC 80 is written. If LTC 80 is written on the ticket, PAO is bound to pass the bill for the full amount.
Air India LTC-80 fares is very old. Currently Airindia are issueing tks endorsed as X class/LTC80. Therefore govt dept should refund the entire fare. However a certificate by station manager stating that X-class fares are actually LTC-80 should suffice. However appeal to Mr bhargava and Hon min of civil aviation to publish revised LTC-80 fares.
Actually the fare of Indian Airlines remains below the LTC 80 fare, if booked well in advance. Indian Airlines fare remains high during festive seasons and busy months like April - May; October, December & January.
Further, most of the central govt employees complained above didn't tell when did they travel and how many days before their journeys they had booked their tickets.
To avoid such less payment, it would be better to avoid journey on LTC during such months and to plan & book the tickets well in advance (at least 2-3 months before) like railway tickets.
Hope this may help some central govt. employees.
