[Resolved]  Indian Overseas Bank — Pathetic Customer service

Hi,
I am Suneel Kumar holds an a/c 23078 with a prestigious Indian Overseas Bank, Prashant Vihar, Rohini branch. Why i choose this bank to open joint a/c bcoz my family has a/c in this bank for the last 23 years. I gave application to open this joint a/c somewhere on May 5'11. A/c opened on May 16'11. This is not the end. I went to branch to inquire about my debit card. They said pin no. will come, then you've to come to branch with that pin no. to collect your debit card. I waited for a week's time but it didnt came. I visited the branch & same thing repeated. I kept my cool somehow. Today i visited branch to deposit money & inquired about the same. They passed me to another person & he said that debit card form was not filled & processed which i submitted at the time of a/c opening.Again this is not the end. They told me to fill a new form & apply for the debit card again. As this is the joint a/c, so two cards were required & person in the bank said in Hindi "Pehle jo mil raha hai woh toh le lo. Doosre card ki baad mei dekhenge". Is this is the right response? So irresponsible & doesnt have any desire to give a good customers. They behave like as they are the supremo of the bank and dont want to understand customer's problem.
30 days has passed & i am waiting for my debit card to come. I visited the branch atleast 10 times.
This thing is happening when Indian banks wants to compete with the private or foreign banks.
No customer service at all. Are we capable enough to match the customer service of private or foreign bank even in the next 20 years.
They must visit the private or foreign bank & see how much desire they have to serve their customers. They understand & value the time of customers.
I have also worked in Royal Bank of Scotland group but never seen this kind of thing.
