[Resolved]  Indian Passport — delay in issue of passport

Dear Sir,
I had applied for a duplicate passsport in lieu of lost passport as per File No. C000850 and Key No.[protected]B at Jaipur on 26.05.08. I have been checking the status on Online and over three months I am constantly viewing the remark ' Police report is incomplete and the case is being examined.' I also visited the Passport Office at Jaipur on 23.09.08 and met Mr.Birdhi Chand, the Asstt. Passport Officer. He after checking on his computer made a note on my enquiry slip for despatch on or before 30.09.08. I have till date not received the passport and the above remark is updated till 06.10.08. While submitting the documents I had attached the original FIR copy of my report with P.S. at Bangkok together with slip issued by Passport office/ Imigration Office at Palam Airport in orginal. The application was complete in all respect together with all necessary documents/ testimonials. As a matter of fact the police station at Malviya Nagar Jaipur visited my residence within one month of application and orwarded the report as well. My daughter is residing at London and I need to visit her soon. I therefore, request for immediate issue of the passport

Respected sir, this is in reference to my passport application, file no- A-220822, applied on 13/07/08. I see the online status everyday, in which it is showing, FURNISH EXPLANATION FOR SUPPRESSION OF MATERIAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE PREVIOUS PASSPORT AND SURRENDER THE SAME. But this is my first passort applied for, and I dont have any previous passport.So,
I request you to kindly give me the right position of my passport, as it is already more than three months now. yours faithfully, SM.Krishna kamarushi.

Respected Sir/Madam, this is in refrence to my passport application, file no-hyd w675351/08, applied on 20/12/08. Iam looking at the online status everyday, in which it is showing, police report has not recieved, inspite of its submission from the police department with S.B. No-RSW164848,
OUTWARD No-596, Serial No-29 and Date of Dispatch - 08/04/09. So i kindly request the concern authorities to issue me the passport as early as possible as it already have more then 5 months now.

i have applied for my passport on 27jan 2009.But till date i haven't received my passport.
when i checked my status it was showing that police report has not been received on till 12may 2009. But now its showing that your File Reference Number (PAT-A[protected] is either wrong or Information NOT available this message shows till now and my police enquiry already happened on 31 march 2009 and they had also provided me the despatch no. 993/09. And passport form says that you will get your passport with in the three months and what i do now. from where is service delay i don't know it has already been above four months. sir/madam plz do something in favour of me. i m tired of calling in my passport station patna but they don't reply positively i don't know why these govt. employs don't reply softly.i am from bihar (darbhanga) and my file reference no. is PAT-A011110 SUBMITTED ON 27 JAN 2009.

Indian Passport — Delay in Issue

My parents have applied for a new passport (App. No. A008595 & A008594) on the 23rd. of February 2010 in Patna. A police officer visited the house in Gaya on the 26th.of March 2010 and the verification was done.The passports are still awaited. Status on the website indicates "Police Report has not been received" even today, on the 18th. of May 2010.

Will be grateful if the matter is taken up with the concerned authorities.

I, Syeda Sultana applied my passport for Renewal on 16 Jun 2010 at Hyderabad and my File No E003604 But till date it is not updated in website it is very long pending from Government Employees. If they work like that we can’t get our Passport in time.

All Govt. Employees are sitting in a cool Air with load of joy and without any hard work they are getting good pay, I Request to take proper action on then and make them to work in a proper way,


I am planning to go Our Muslims Holy place (MADINA) for HAJ in our holy month RAMAZAAN (01 OCT2010) so I need my passport before October month

On enquiry, the status is shown that police verification has not been done, whereas police verification was conducted on 04.04.2011 and Intelligence verification was also done on 10.04.2011. We do not understand how unnecessary delay is being done. Kindly expedite the matter and inform the status through my email address.

This is regarding some fake consumer forums existing in the internet. There are huge number of consumer forums blacklisted by cyber crime department. These are not authorized forums by any government across globe. Also they cant do anything regarding your complaints and cant solve your any problems related to any service.

Then you might have one question that if it is true then why these forums are created what benefit they are getting from this???

Now a days internet marketing of the products is booming. Search engines such as Google, Yahoo are masters in the internet advertisements.For placing the advertisement in website, website owner get paid by the related companies. This business is growing day by day and the turnover of the same is in multi billion dollars. To get advertisement from the ad agencies page ranking and the popularity of the website is the very important parameter, and these parameters are dependent on number of visitors and users of the website.

To make the website a" money making machine" huge number o[censored]nauthorized and fake discussion forums have been created across the world, and as complaints and discussions about product and service is the very close issues of day to day life of human being, these forums are taking advantage of this fact.

In these forums people can post anything about anybody and about any company. Most funny thing is that you will find some fake complaints about some company and the ad of the same company will be displayed in the same forum. These so called forum administrators have no control on the posting. They display the malicious and defamatory contents without verification from the companies about the issue. Not all companies's management have time to put the comments below the queries and many of these companies's management is not even aware that somebody is putting malicious contents about their companies in these forums.

End of the day because of these forums many companies's business is indirectly getting affected and most of them are small and medium scale businesses.These forums are spreading negativeness about the service providing companies by doing their dis advertisement and allowing unverified defamatory contents to be displayed.

Coming to the point, the conclusion of the story is consumer is posting the complaints in the such a forums in which administrator of the forum himself doesn't have any control regarding the contents ( means if you put defamatory contents about that forum itself it will accept). Consumer having problems regarding the service of any company should approach company management first and should give the application regarding the problem solving. If that also doesn't worked out consumer can approach Government consumer court or file an FIR in police station.

In 98.7% of the cases about the complaints against the service it is observed that problem gets resolved immediately after reaching company management. And for other complicated or fraud related cases, government of every country has its own consumer court in every city and district.

Friends, No machine in this world is 100% efficient, it implies to every human being, every service and every organization. But it doesn't means that you should defame that person, service provider or an organization. It will indirectly affect the business of the company and in turns every person including the consumer get affected by it. Our constitution has given right to everybody regarding speech but this doesn't means that you start taking revenge by destroying image and goodwill of the company which is the port built by efforts and hard work of honest people.

Yes, you have right to talk and spread awareness about the fraud people and organisations but only after verification and getting perfect legal proofs against it.Don't start blaming anybody or any company just because one wrong, defamatory and baseless comment came in some unauthorized forum.

Approaching right person, right organisation is the only way of solving the problem, Please Please don't support the illegal forums to spread their illegal business.

Very soon we are posting the list of all blacklisted forums by cyber crime department

novelty computers — delay in passport

I applied my brother new passport date.12/10/2010.
police enquiry is completed but my brother pssport is not isssued .

But I don't how or why is this got to do with Desktop Computers section. If it helps, my mom's passport taken 8 months since the time of police verification, despite with proper documents, educational certification and the fact she's staying here since 16 years of age. Gestures like this makes you feel like a foreigner, despite being a native.

I have applied for passport through Chittoor Passport Receipt cell on 7th March 2011 and Police Verification have been finished on[protected]. From that day onwards, whenever I check my status through online it showing message like "It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time".

Now I want my passport as quick as possible, could you please look into this issue and do needful.
