Indian Passport Office - Passport not delivered

Dear Sir,

I applied for the passport on 20th January and submitted all the documents as per the check list.The file # is E002867

The documents along with passport application form and draft of 1000 Rs is accepted by passport office. Then for police verification a police guy was came to my residence and he has queried about me and took the witness of my neighbour and told me to come in Malad police station. Next day i went to Malad police station with a copy of whatever documents i have submitted to passport office. Now after 2 months i am seeing the status as "
"Police Report is incomplete and the case is being examined "

I am surprised why the police report is still incomplete even after 2 months.This shows the complete ignorence from the police department.Let me know what is missing in the report so that i will fill provide you that information.

Dear Sir,

I applied for the passport on 16th January 2012 and submitted all the documents as per the check list.The file no is A001865

Then for police verification a police was came to my residence and he has queried about me and took the witness of my neighbour and told me to come in oshiwara police station. Next day i went to oshiwara police station with a copy of whatever documents i have submitted to passport office. Now after 3 months i am seeing the status as "
"police report is clear and the passport is expected to be despatched by 27/3/2012 "
