We had applied fir frees passport on dated 08/07/2011, But till dated message displayed as following on dated 28/11/2011 same messege display till dated

STATUS :

It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time

Kindly look into the matter and treat the matter Urgent

sir, i am M.S.Velmurugan, i missed my passport (F5721651(which is renewaled A[protected] in the bus. but innocently i applied freshely on may 2012. i went to the office they told to me it is a wrong way of approaching please go to LIC opposite building for further porcess, the day after i went to there they told to get avitavit for innocently applied for new passport, then i went to layer office to get avitavite, but he told to me to fill the compliant in police station. next i went to the police station, there told to me to get some documents one of them is give the complient to rpo office through email and get the print out of the copy, thus why i give the complient. my email id is [protected]@yahoo.co.in
please accept this complient and give the way of processing next.

I and my wife Smt. Bandna Gupta applied for the passport on[protected] vide file number A005355 and A005356 respectively. It is unfortunate that status on the website reads 'Police Inquiry Pending'', whereas the same stands conducted. Even after the lapse of 7 months, the passports have not been issued. may kindly take appropriate action so that the same be issued at the earliest.

Mr.Khurshid,

I am sorry to disturb your office for such a small matter, but this is a glaring example of public services mockery that I am now unable to tolerate.

I have registered a service request on Passport portal as already am facing undue delay in issue of my passport for which I had applied, post my earlier passport being stolen in broad day-light. I have paid all your fees & submitted all required documents, spent half a day at your Seva Kendra, getting everything verified & re-checked.

Still, I am unable to get my new passport. The portal is giving me an gross further delayed date for resolution, which is unacceptable:
"Service Request is logged successfully and The Service Request Number is [protected] and Expected Date of Completion is22/12/2012"

As am already troubled with the delay, how do you expect me to bear further 22 days delay??

The earlier processes (before your outsourcing to TATA) were much faster - I had got all my old passports within 30 days of application, all papers being in order & being a law-abiding proper citizen of this country.

However, now it appears that the Govt is just wasting Tax-payer money by outsourcing such activities & lengthening the simple process, making it more complex without reason and finally inconveniencing us.

Please refer my below appeals also which have mostly fallen on deaf, indifferent ears. On one instance, the APO has actually intervened & instructed the RPO for necessary action, but to no avail. When the RPO doesn't listen to the APO, what chance does a common man like me have to shake him/her into action?

It is my humble request to you as the Apex authority in these matters to kindly review your processes & streamline the same to effectively & efficiently achieve the final objective of having such systems. Trust you will not turn a blind eye to this & help restore some amount of my lost faith in Govt administration.

I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIEVED MYASSPORT NOR AM CONTACTED FOR ANY
VERIFICATION OR ANY FURTHER PROCESS.

If even after your kind intervention, this is the state, please
understand the kind of operational procedures being followed at the
RPO. They are totally indifferent to any law-abiding citizen's needs.

I have applied for passport of my wife, my sonand self on dt. MARCH 2012, I received my self & my

son PASSPORT but my wife passport not received till date and status sowing file closed.
Sir, I have not received any informatio from passport office, while all application and police

I have applied for Passport renewal in Sep 2011.. police verifiication has been done and when verified the online status. " Due to uncircumstances your passport is delayed and it will be dispatched with in few days" is being displayed. Finlay in 2012 after posting a query in Times of India. i have received an letter from the Passport office asking to meet near passport office to reapply becuase TCS has taken over all passport things and 2011 passports are kept on hold.. again i have reapplied in 2012 and gone through the police verification and all. when verified online status now "Passport application is under review at Regional Passport Office" Can somebody help in this
