Passport not received
below is the details that i sent to passport office but till today no reply. pls help me to get the passport.

Dear sir,

In the passport office can any body tell me that how many days required to send a passport.

Website says that police verification Police Report is clear. Application is under process.
i am from north west delhi

But till today no comunication send by the passport office.

This is the request you to kindly look into the matter and do the needful so that I can get the passport.

Kindly let me know what is holding it hooked for so long. Its been about 3-4 months and i just see that Application has been transferred to policy section, Please See the PRO,

Can anyone explain what am i supposed to do in that case, who is PRO and why does the passport goes to PRO and what is the reason behind it

I will appreciate your efforts to explain the same and guide me through

Sir actually My wife(Urmila Rani) & me (Satinder Kumar) have applied for a passport on 18/02/2008 i was waiting for my passport & today i checked online passport status & its say s that our police verification has not been recieved yet ... so went to ou main police head office they told that they has sent the report on 05/05/2008 also they have provided us with dispatch numbers those are 2612-p & 2626-p . so we are really confused please email my passport application actual status it comes under chandigarh my file num is A011422 & my wife application file num is A011419plz do the needfull .

After complition of 45 days.inquiry has also been done.But still i din't receive my passport.I request you to please send my passport as early as possible.It's very urgent.I hope that you will co-operate with me.

I am a student.I shall be leaving Kolkata(Salt Lake, Sector -1) on 14th july 2008.I am going to Bombay for my further studies.Its a 2 year's course.I am confused about what to give as my present address in the online registration.If the police verification in Kolkata is done after a month or so then iI wont be available..What happens in that case.Could any one plese tell me what to give my present address as..Bombay or Kolkata..?
Moreover, if i give Bombay..I shall be staying in a hostel of IIT Bombay..But then I would require the names of two people.Which may not be easy to find in a new place..What to do????
