Goods stolen or lost by indian post

Dear Sir /madam ,

I had couriered my goods from trivendram to ahmedabad. I had tracked my good till mumbai . when i asked about about it , they told its been lost at mumbai office . RECEIPT NO/ TRACKING NO: EL068713680IN.
what should i do . Or what action i can take to get back my courier.
