Indian Postal Service — Inappropriate way of Delivery of Posts

Respected Sir/Madam,

This is being written with a high level of dissatisfaction towards the Indian Postal Service at my area (Shyam Vihar, Najafgarh, New Delhi 110043). I have been noticing for a long time that the posts that I'm getting are always with the opened envelope. No matter how important and confidential documents it carries but it is always coming with the opened envelope. I'm kind of really worried regarding this issue rather threat. You will be surprised to know that the secured things from banks, coming through even speed posts, have been received with opened envelopes-even checks.
The postman serving in our area is so careless with the dropping of posts that he doesn't bother to put the mail in the space specially provided for the same. Lot many times I've found the bills lying outside in the drain. I have a dedicated mail box opening towards the main gate but never got the mails into it. I'm even scared to advise the postman regarding the same as he may do anything with the mails I would be getting in future. This should really be communicated as this gets really frustrating at times. I'm hoping that this would reach to the appropriate authorities for the corrective actions.

Summary:
1. Postal mails are not coming through safe hands as the envelopes are, most of the times open, irrespective of the type of the mail. E.g. from banks
2. Postman is very careless while dropping the mail and doesn't bother to ensure the appropriate delivery. Even drops the envelopes on the wet surface while it is raining.

Please please look into this!!!

Indian Postal Service — speed post not delivered

Sir,

Following speed post no:
SP EU[protected]IN has not been delivered till date ( 26/8/10)at the adress in sect-5. On enquiring from sender post office ( MLNR ENGG COLLEGE, Allahabad) it was confirmed that after dispatch on 14/8 it was delivered in sect -6 dwarka post office on 16/8.

what is the reason that u r not delivered local lucknow delivered parsal.
tell me repply our speed post no is- eu[protected]n.

I, N.Phani Tej, Hyderabad posted my Application for Entrance Test of M.Tech, Kharagpoor, IIT vide a registered post No.R.L.1259, dt.24.09.2010 and on verification it was found not received by IIT, Kharagpoor. What to do?

I am expecting a parcel from us through USPS, i have checked the USPS website and it states the parcel has been cleared from the customs on 4th nov 2010, till date there is no news of the parcel, i have enquired the local post office and a postoffices nearby, but it is useless, i tried the indian postal service website and tried to track the parcel with negative results, i called the customer service hotline of the indian postal service and they say they have no system to track the parcel as it is not a speed post, can anyone tell me whre and how i can know the status of the parcel, it is giving quite a headace to me, Indian postal service being so big has no way to track a parcel, thats ridiculous . can anybody help me ?

Registered Post — missing

I am not able to trace the registered post no. 1023(29 th july) which contains my transfered account of PPF. This has been sent by SNMC branch of SBI,Agra . They sent it to SBI,Connaught circus, New delhi,but in Delhi it has not been received yet.

i send a registered post to India, Kerala from sharjah on 27/11/2010, but still not reached there. i trace the registered post in the emirates post site. They dispatched the post to india on 29/11/2010.

Indian Postal Service — Parcel not Received

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am trying to track a parcel sent from Germany to India on 26th Feb and not yet reached its destination.

The reference details for the parcel from Deutsche Post is RK[protected]DE.

I would appreciate your help to understand where the parcel is at the moment and when it can be received as it has 4 weeks now that the parcel has not been delivered

Indian Postal Service — non delivery of article

I have posted a letter on Speed Post from Nehru Nagar post office, Secunderabad to Rajhamundry on[protected], The assigned article no is EN[protected]IN, As noticed from the track details the article was sent to Vishakapatnam on[protected], the baggage was opened 0n[protected],and instead of sending it to Rajhamundy it was send to Aryapuram P.O which also happens to be next to Rajhamundry H.P.O, The article was returned back to Vishakapatnam on[protected] and reached Vishakapatnam on[protected], since then there is no trace of the article.First of all the staff responsible sending the article from Vishakapatnam to Aryapuram instead of Rajhamundry should be questioned and punished. The postal department should not spare such employees who are irresponsible in discharging their legitimate government duties.The article has not reached its destination even on[protected] at 12.30 PM, and I have to face a awkward situation due to non delivery of the article.The postal department is requested to take action before the Indian citizens loose their faith in postal department.

My brother sent me a parcel from UK on 3 rd of may by royal mail .I have not received the parcel
i have tried to track my parcel using the barcode through ROYAL MAIL, so far they have intimated that it has been handed over to overseas postal service for delivery in India.

but i could not track it further and it is almost a week

A parcel from the USA was sent to me at my New Delhi address on 16th June, 2011 through United States Postal Services (USPS). However, 13 days have passed & I have not yet received the parcel.
