[Resolved]  Indian Postal Service — Non explanation and information towards withdrawal and closure of my deceased father's Postal Savings A/C amount

Dear Sir,

My Father Late Shri Ratnakar Patel has a savings A/c with Sunabeda 2 branch post office.

I met the post master 3 times and asked for the procedure but alas he has got no clue.

He handed me a booklet stating rules and regulations and asked me to photocopy certain forms which i filled up and tried to deposit. I was again asked to make some changes and was not told clearly as to what to do.

I live in Delhi and it is very difficult for me to travel frequently.

Please suggest me the correct and effective procedure for the same.
