[Resolved] Indian Postal Service — Poor customer service and non accountability of staff | |||
sir/maam, I visited the Perungudi post office today 3. 9.2012 at 12.50 pm to send 11 mails through speed post. The person in charge of speed post refused to accept my mails and got busy counting cash. When he chose to see my envelopes he refused saying it was lunch time and he would attend on me only at 1.30 PM. I reached out to the manager who refused to help and answered very rudely. When I requested for his name he refused to give me his name and claimed I was threatening him. If this is how a post office staff behave without accountability why would any customer reach out to Indian post. The Manager needs training in customer care and needs to be accountable for what happens in his post office. He needs to understand the customer is the reason why he has a job at all.
