[Resolved]  Indian Railway — Railway Enquiry Number 139 and Website ( http://www.trainenquiry.com/indexNS.aspx) providing incorrect details

This is to bring in your notice regarding incorrect details been provided regarding arrival and departure of trains bu both Railway enquiry number 139 and website (http://www.trainenquiry.com/indexNS.aspx)

I have to travel by train 7203 ( bhavnagar Kakinada Experess ) as on 13th June 09, from Surat to Secunderabad, when i made call to number 139, it said the train is running on its scheduled(right) time, but when i reached Railway station i came to know train is delayed by approx 4 hours.. which is expected to arrive Surat by 18:08 hours

Same is the case with the Website..

So i would request you to please check both, and take some action.

I would be vety happy to receive some responce from you regarding same.

Hello,
I booked one ticket today from Habibganj station in shatabdi express (2002). PNR[protected].
It involved a senior citizen so I applied for Sr citizen concession. After receiving the ticket, , I came to know that concession is not provided despite clearly mentioned on ticket.
Prior to the booking of this ticket, I had booked one more ticket and to my surpise, it had concession for senior citizen.
Now I want to make a complaint for such carelessness but am unable to find any customer care number.
Can you please help regarding how and where to proceed.

Hi,

I just to known that in 1039 Maharashtra Express train some coach get Split in Bhusaval. One Move toward Gondia and Other toward Gorakhpur can any body tell me please in which train it get merge which move toward gorakhpur.

have an query on the facilities available in train duronto. weather there is facility for the small kids for e.g. availibility of milk etc is available or not.

This is to know about the information that I have booked a ticket from Secunderabad to Palakkad Jn. on 23/03/2010 through Tatkal Scheme. In this ticket there are 2 passengers in which 1 passenger is a senior citizen. I have received the ticket, but for the senior citizen there is concession of Rs. 552 (Rupees Five Hundred And Fifty Two Only). But, I didn't receive that amount.

So, my problem is, if I go to the reservation counter, can I get the amount tomorrow? Its a counter as well as a confirmed ticket.

I need it know urgently. Please do reply as earlier as possible.

Indian Railway — Wrong update on 139

This feedback is regarding railway enquiry service available on 139. I would like to draw your kind attention towards wrong updates available on 139 leading to passengers trouble. Today, i.e. on[protected], I had to board Geetanjali Superfast Tr. No. 2859 from CST. Train is reportedly late by approx. 5 Hrs. However, we got information on 139 regarding train being on time. Even after one hour of it's scheduled departure time, it was reported to be running on time, when equired at 139.

This is very unfortunate and unlike for Indian railways. Thousands of passengers get affected due to these type of wrong information available on railway enquiry nos.

I request you to take action against this. As per rigths to information, I would appreciate, if I am informed about the action taken in this regards,

Hi,

I have an id "ushavarri", due to crossing the limit of booking tickets i was not able to book more tickets.So, i have created another id " rajanausha" and booked few tickets in that.

But now they have deactivated my account without intimation.As per rules u can deactivate but before deactivating if it is violating the rule then u shouldnot have accepted my new mailid.

Due to this activity iam suffereing a lot as all my next month tickets have been in that new id and still now i have send many mails to [protected]@irctc.co.in, and iam not able to get the exact information from 2 days.

Atleast iam trying to call to 139 even then my problem has not yet been solved.

I Sumit Kumar Sarkar traveled from KGP to SC by 18645 East Coast Exp on 03 Apr 2011 in AC II tier bearth no 38, 40 &41 vide ticket no 34192159 PNR [protected]. On journey at night our ladies bag stolen in which we lost some jewelery, 2500/- cash, two mobile, my all ID cards, Driving Licence, five ATM and so many useful item.
For the above I registered a complain with coach conductor Mr CTYK Singh and coach attendant Mr B Srinivas Rao, but nothing I got and practically I dont know how item can be theft from bed in AC II tier, Further I made FIR at my destination with Secundrabad GRP. Lastly after four days I got FIR Copy but till today I have not received any information regarding the incident as well as I have not received my ID Card, Driv. Lic. also. What action suppose to take by Rly. authority? What is the duty of coach Conductor/Attendent?

This is to bring in your notice regarding no information provided when I rang up 139 although I had been charged Rs 9.60 (for 8 calls, Rs1.20/call). No voice I heard from customer or IVR
