[Resolved] Indian Railway Staff - Parcel Luggage — Lump sum - Parcel Luggage | |||
Dear Si, This is to complaint against the Parcel luggage staff stands near the Ticket booking counter at CST station (Metro) - Mumbai of indian railways. The details of the complaint are: 1. No proper response if we approach the parcel luggage counter for booking to parcel the luggage to destination. 2. Tell the passengers to approach the staff those stands near the luggage weighing machine for any such luggage parcel booking. 3. The staff demands a lumpsum for any such booking and make a bill on actual weight of the luggage. 4. Recently, I had seen a passenger wanted to send household instruments to the destination, the staff demanded a lumpsum of Rs. 1200/- and made a bill of Rs. 550/-. Since the passenger had no alternative but to sent to it on urgent basis. So, he agreed to the lumpsum amount. This kind of situation not only faced by me but other passengers are still facing. Request your intervention on this and get this sort of corruption vanished at the earliest. Agreed, that wealthy people never mind paying the excess amount but a common man never wants to do.
