When there is a mismatch in details of a passenger, cant it be changed by submitting necessary identity proofs? I am not asking it to be done during travel. But what if there was some mistake say like gender, during tatkaal ticket booking. You cannot cancel or neither tickets will be available to book again. So as 48hrs are still there for journey, isn't the Chief reservation officer capable of changing it when we approach with proofs?
Even Banks accept in case of mismatch, when provided with proper identity proofs.
Whats the way to handle this?
