non refund of cancelled e ticket after preparation of chart - Indian Railways
"This is the mail which i wrote to irctc when i got to the fact that the train is late by 8 hours.
> this is to request you that train no 3484/Farakkha express schedule
> departure from gzb was 22.30 but it was late by 7.15 hrs .
> therefore i want my ticket to be cancelled for the same and the amount to
> be refunded to my account.

"Kindly note that e-ticket
cancellation can be done up to the chart preparation, after making chart
e-ticket cancellation not allowed. In this case has been forwarded to
railways for the TDR process. Railways check all the matters and decide what
amount should be refunded and this all process takes 90 days or more"
My question is why should i suffer for the fault of railways where i waited for the aforesaid train for more than 4 hours when temprature was 1.2 degrees.
this all has caused me a great mental as well as physicall agony and because of this delay i was compelled to buy a current scheme ticket of shatabdi express which was thrice the amount of my former ticket.
and my amount is subjected to be refunded and it may take more than 3 months, which is totally unfair
there fore i kindly request the concerned authority to look forward in to this matter and help me to compensate for my physical mental loss.
