[Resolved] Indian Railways - IRCTC — Online Account Disabled | |||
I had filed a TDR an year back on irctc.co.in requesting for refund of amount towards a journey which i could not perform. I have now received a mail from [protected]@irctc.co.in informing me that i had made a false claim for refund of amount. The email further states that my account has been disabled on account of false claim. I have booked close to 10 tickets using this online account, and am neither able to take print of this nor cancel them. Despite making a genuine claim towards the refund, It is embarassing to see IRCTC reverting back with me wrong conclusion, and further disabling the account. I am pissed off with the substandard processes and procedures followed by IRCTC, that have put me under lot of suffering and inconvenience. They neither have a fool proof mechanism to detect wrong claims nor a standard and hassle free process for refund of amount. I strongly feel this is the most unprofessionalistic to disable an online account without verifying the credentials with the passenger. I made enough of attempts to get my account enabled thru customer care, but this is a very very painful process. Was this information helpful? | |||
