The railway time of southern railway - trivandrum division is 3 minutes past than Indian Standard Time.So sometimes we miss the train.I complaint about this matter in railway enquiry and they said that railway time is 3 minute past than IST in trivandrum division.So please do the necessity action to correct trivandrum railway time with IST.
Why Kochuveli station near Trivandrum is so pathetic? Why Trivandrum division is neglecting this satellite station of Trivandrum which is hosting many long distance trains?
I arrived Kochuveli from Mumbai by Garib Rath express only to find a deserted platform with no amenities and public transport. This is shocking for passengers like me who come for official visit.
Please provide connecting local trains from Kochuveli to Trivandrum Central till public transport is made available. Also provide ticket counters, IRCTC canteen, waiting rooms, etc. in the platform. Otherwise please donot run long distance trains like Garib Rath to Kochuveli.

The ladies compartment at the end of Venad Express from Trivandrum to Shornur is a very small one attached to the disabled compartment, having a seating capacity of only 20 seats. It is a known fact that all working women, lady students and others use the 2 ladies compartment, hence it is very crowded and practically impossible to get in from chengannur onwards, especially during Mondays and Fridays. Practically we have to stand upto Tripunithura atleast. It would be a great help if the normal big compartment is allocated.
The jan shadhabdhi express is currently having no stop at Cherthala which is surprising to see so. There are lot of passengers who work in cherthala who are using other mode of coveyence to travell from Trivandrum to cherthala and also some are getting down at Allepy and travelling 22 ms by other moe of conveyance. As the time suits for official requirement kindly do a survey and implement a stop at Cherthala also as it will be the only stop between Allepy and Ernakulam.
I am a central government employee working in ernakulam starting my journey from kottayam in venad express. there is one very much difficulty regarding shifting our railway stop from south to north so that 90% of the ladies are getting in the last ladies compartment. For the 3 months we are having a 1/4 compartment as ladies compartment. WE all are suffering a lot that from kottaym we cannot enter into the compartment which is having only 4 seats. from kottayam there are three stations ettumanoor, piravam road and tripunithura. this is very hard situation. you please do one favour that LIKE EARLIER A FULL COMPARTMENT INSTEAD OF THIS 1/4 COMPARTMENT MAY BE GIVEN TO US A LADIES COMPARTMENT IN THE BACK SIDE.

I am a regular railway traveller between Ernakulam & Calicut. I reserve by internet and travel by Intercity/ Janshatabdi. I am very comfortable and very happy. I read comfortably whenever I travel.
But recently I have been noticing with dismay a trend in some of the passengers. Astonishingly, these are educated class and employed. Some of them are goverment employees also.THEY TRAVEL WITHOUT TICKETS. They get into the train as it leaves a station(till that time they remain with some tea/news paper vendor). Immediately they befriendle with you even if you are reading/remain don't care. They convey that long queue prevented them from taking a ticket and they travel for urgent purpose. Some of them remain in toilets for long to avoid TTE and some of them are ready to pay fine.
Yesterday, as I was travelling from CLT by Janshatabdi Exp., a group of about 5 persons crowded the TTE at his seat and they declared that they were not given tickets to Kuttipuram from Calicut. TTE immediately informed that the train would not stop at Kuttipuram and demanded fine for ticketless travel. They moved away under the guise of collecting money from their friends and disappeared at Tirur station.
Kerala was known as a state where ticketless travel was considered as shame. Now a section of people have started to make it a fashion. Slowly anti social elements may adopt this method. kindly arrange to get regular feedback from TTEs/ Ticket examiners.

Why so many second class reservation tickets are being issued in a train that has more than 150WL passengers already struggling there .This kind of practise is only in kerala.If making profit is your aim it should not be done by harassing the passengers who had planned their travel 3 months ago .You are already making much in the way of cancellation of tickets, no refunds for tatkal and so on.So please show a little concern on our pity passanger.

uncleaned reservation counters of railway - Indian Railways
we don't get tatkal ticket in reservation counters even though we stand in que line from before12am . after getting in the line we are treated as dogs as we pay more for tatkal charges and stay more than 10 hours with out fan and uncleaned place with full of mosquitos and insect .
I want to bring these facts to your notice with the expectation that, surely you will look into this and will give remedy to this problem.
After clearing the landslip in Nagercoil- Trivandrum sector, the train starting from Trivandrum in the morning by 0700 hrs use to reach Nagercoil only after 1000 Hrs. We the office goers suffered a lot because for us no other way other than this train. when we complained about this to the station master at Nagercoil he told he can't do anything and the reason is because of single line. But all other trains going towards trivandrum in the morning session are reaching the destination in time by using the same single line. The train will left exactly by 0700 hrs without fail and will reach Nemom by 0710 and will wait upto 0730 for Kanyakumari-Mumbai train and again will reach by 0800 hrs and will wait for Nagercoil Trivandrum 1st passeneger upto 0810. So in all stations this passengers will be retained for passing other trains. Please give instructions to the concerned officers to see that this morning passenger must reach Nagercoil Jn exactly by scheduled time i.e 0905 Hrs.
Evening for returning also only one train is there. The scheduled time from Nagercoil is 1820 Hrs. But we have to wait for the arrival of Banglore Kanyakumari Exp upto 1900 Hrs. We made a written complaint about this on 27.12.10 to Station Master, Nagercoil. Now from 28.12.10 what they are doing is exactly by 1820 this train will be sent from Nagercoil but we have to wait at Eraniel station for more than 30 minutes for the arrival of both Island Exp and the 1st Passenger train from Trivandrum. So the net effect is we will be reaching Trivandrum Central Station only after 2100 Hrs. Scheduled arrival time is 2025.
last wednesday(12-01-2011) my two wheeler vehicle was parked at Trivandrum railway parking area regarding to my ernakulam journey. Thereafter i took my vehicle 13-01-2011 night 9.50 pm. They are collected 17Rs from me. Moreover they stealed 5 litre petrol from my vehicle. I was complaint to parking authority . Then they behaved me very indecently. This is not good thing. Hence i request that kindly take an action against them to do not repeat it any others. I already submit the complaint to the Thampanoor police station.
One more thing in railway has give any criteria about parking fees if yes then please take the proceedings show the notice board
The Ladies compartment in the Kottayam- Eranakulam passenger train ( No 342 SR =56386) will have locked doors when it comes to Ettumanoor station on many days. If someone is inside they will open the doors for the ladies. Today there were nobody within and the ladies were trying to open it till the train started and they found stranded on the platform when the train started to move. They tried to enter the general compartments but the eastern doors of the adjoining compartments were also locked. The started panicking and boarded the moving train in the later compartments. It was a dangerous situation. Why there is no arrangement for opening the doors of the train? Or who is responsible?

am writing this letter for family in Irumpanam railway quarters, am staying this quarters for past 12 years.Here no regular cleaning of water tanks, which means for past 10 years they never clean our water tank.Contract water supplying team(water supplying to our quarters through water tanks) supplies unclean water.Please take necessary action for this big problem, consuming unclean water whole families facing so many diseases.am attaching photos of our water tank..

I have been working as Ad Hoc Goods Guard/ ERM&ERS from 01/07/2009 onwards as per the above cited reference no: 2.
in pay Rs 12300+GP Rs 2800 . I have been posted as SHM/I/CHY by fixing my basic as Rs 11830+GP Rs 4200
on 29/11/2010. But this has not been intimated to me by YM ERM & SMR ERS or I had not been relieved as per the above
reference no. 1. Or in total I am having two losses ie:
1) I lost my career as Goods Guard due to the mistake of the administration .
2) I lost my promotion as SHM I from 29/11/2010 due to the action of YM ERM & SMR ERS.
Hence I humbly request you to kindly effect the promotion of SHM I grade from 29/10/2010 onwards in order to compensate
the loss to me due to the reversion of Goods Guard from 27/05/13 onwards which is not due to my own fault.
