[Resolved]  Indiatimes Shopping — complaint against product purchased

i purchased e-phone through telli-calling.Reference no is-[protected]. after one and half month charger of mobile became non-operational & touch screen property of mobile starts malfunctioning.wen i contacted customercare they gave me a nonresponsive telephone no[protected] of dealer from where indiatimes ordered product.
my question is, indiatimes takes money from customer, so company should be responsible.this mobile is hardly of worth 5000 for which company charges 10, 000.even then, such a unproffestional & mean response ? if indiatimes continue to market such type o[censored]nbranded product credential of the comany would soon be lost.
we customer hope better service at least from big name.

I am also another victim of the absurd behaviour of Indiatime shopping.. I have bought a Remote controlled Helicopter from them, the same has been changed after the complaint, & the changed one... thats like .. no other better word came to my mind... while describing Indiatimes Shopping.
Please I urge everyone looking at this page,
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM INDIATIME SHOPPING... THEY ARE THIEVES.. They sell Products.. without customer satisfaction or customer performance...

Indiatimes Shopping — Non-Responsiveness of INDIATIMES.SHOPPING Customer care

I had ordered GOOD HOUSEKEEPING magazine subscription for 2 yrs. on 12.05.2009, (which included 4 Cups with plates as FREE gift) through INTERNET BANKING. The details of the payment are given below:

Debit Amount:Rs.1,170.00

However, INDIATIMES.SHOPPING have made a payment of Rs.675/- only to LIVING MEDIA INDIA of INDIA TODAY group for a 1 year subscription. I have been writing to them since 12.05.2009 to EITHER transfer the balance amount to INDIA TODAY GROUP so that they can upgrade my subscription to 2 years OR refund the balance amount alongwith due interest till date.

But it seems my requests are falling on deaf ears & INDIATIMES.SHOPPING disowns responsibilty of delivering services to customers after having received the payments to their accounts.

You are requested to help me in resolving the issue at the earliest.

Indiatimes Shopping — My worst shopping experience ever.

I had ordered (order no.:[protected] a Sigmatel S22 Dual Sim MP3/MP4 Bluetooth GSM Mobile Phone with TV from Indiatimes Shopping on 30th August 2009.
After lot of calls to their customer care I still did not receive my order in time i.e. 6-7 working days. I finally received my order on 28th September 2009 but returned the courier as I was not happy with the delay in the delivery of the product and placed an order cancellation request (Ticket number: 976) on 8th Oct 2009 to get my amount refunded.
Today is 22nd October and I still haven't got my refund. According to me, This is the worst service ever given by a company to it's customer.

I would not suggest anyone to purchase from Indiatimes Shopping, Infact I would always insist Sify / Rediff in this matter.
Hi, My name is Manoj Kawatra and i booked a blackberry mobile (model curve 8520) order no.[protected] in the month of aug through HDFC Bank Credit card. I requested same day to cancel the order because the telly caller cheated with me. After 15days i received a mail that your order has been cancelled and you will get the payment back with in 2 or 3 working days. I received the credit card statement of bank that is still reflecting that my 2 intallments are due. I am very frustrated with these kind of services. Bank is charging 500/- late fees from. please clear these payment and pls don't force me to take legal course of action through consumer court.

E 11002030, but it is unfortunate that the things not yet reached to the address mentioned at the time of order, so I request plz.expedite the matter to get the same as early as possible, otherwise I shall be bound to give legal notice through consumers forum

Indiatimes Shopping — Part shipment and poor customer response

I had purchased two products ( Gift voucher for Rs 5000/-) and a cake and red roses through one order. This was meant to be a birthday gift to a relative. The company delivered Gift voucher after a rigourous follow up for 15 days. There was no update of the shipment / delivery or any feedback in the meantime. The second order (cake and red roses) which was to be delivered on a birthday has not been delivered for 45 days.

I have been tired of sending emails ( [protected]@indiatimes.co.in) and following up with customer service number [protected] but there has been no update or resolution.

Everytime you call customer service number you are made to wait for atleast 30 minutes before someone answers and everytime the process of knowing full history starts. The call centre executives have no way to check the history or status of the complaints ( or past emails) and they end up promising to revert with a resolution but needless to add, no one reverts.

The service levels are hopeless and it is a serious cheating of customer going on by a company of this repute. I am wondering what are the consumer authorities doing ? They are quick to debit customer account and confirm your order, but after that customer is left to the mercy of Almighty for delivery of the goods.

Strictly a no no for online shopping!

Save your money and time and try other options.
I have purchased one Hiphone 3 months back. It is a duel sim mobile phone. I tried to use two sim in this phone. but it is not possible, if I select sim1, then only sim1 is working and the second sim will not work and any call to this number tell phone is switched off/out of the coverage area.same way if I select sim2 the sim1 will not work. So what is the big idea of keeping this duel mobile phone. There is no other option for selecting duel sim.And many times I tried to call the seller but nobody picking the phone and now a days the landline number is not working. The seller is Tecknicks.If you can help me in this regardes, pls reply to this

I fully agree with above. I am also facing similar problem with Indiatimes shopping, neither their phone are responsive nor Indiatimes customer care is responsible. with suc bad experiance, they are earning dirty name for IndiaTimes Group, a prestigious group.

I don't know what can happen by posting my issue is here but people who see before order will atleast get releif by not ordering Indiatimes and taking headache.
14 days ago i written a complaint reg the order no[protected] and after 3 days i received a call from India times that we had transfered your amt & you will get back the payment within 2 days. But i had not received yet the payment back. The interest of Credit Card is increasing day by day. Now i had decided to take a legal course of action through consumer court. I am giving these suggssn to all of you pls don't purchase anything through india times.
In April 2009 I bought a K81 chinese mobile by looking into the add in Times of India daily newspaper which said the handset has a valid IMEI number but now recently my operator has posted me a sms that my cellphone has a invalid International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number & as per Govt. directive this handset will not work. Get new IMEI number for Rs.199. Times Shopping should provide us the valid IMEI number or I will complain to consumer court.

My suggestion to buyers - please do not buy blindly from Times Shopping they are broadlight cheaters.

I booked my order for Impact Machine with 24Pcs Tool Kit & 13Pcs Drill Bits through Indiatimes shopping.

I feel very bed when i received Order delivery there are missing items which India times shopping agreed to send while taking order.

i don't know why this big Brand Times of India is doing this cheating ?

i received in box is Impact Machine With 24Pcs Tool Kit only.

there is no 13Pcs Drill Bits and Free Indiatimes GC of Rs.500/-.

I tried to contact around 10 times on phone they are not responding and every time keeping my call on hold when i am asking about missing items.

Indiatimes Shopping — misguiding and not registering complain for the refund

Dear sir,
I have purchased Hyderabad Pearl Set my order no is [protected].
I was told that if you dont like the product give us call in 15 days we would collect the product and you will get money back.
There is computerised call service to there number.
Since week I am trying to call the customer care excutive to know the status of my order before it was delivered and now to cancel my order but no customer care executive is picking the call since hours. But if I want to place a new order, instantly my phone is received by the executive.
They are not giving the original certificate of the pearls they are sending xerox copy.

India Times Shopping — didnt recieve the gift voucher and i payed the money

i gt a cal from some chandan stating to be from indiatimes shopping claming that they r giving away rupees 500/- worth gift voucher if we take book club membership at rupees 555/- from them an i said ok i ll take the member ship and today the courier arrived with the mail and i payed as the amount given but when i opened and saw the email the id on the receipt which was shown was wrong not mine i feel so cheated mine india times id is romanad and the id given on paper is romanav ..also my phone number is wrong on the receipt what is this crap these people r doing these guys have cheated and i checked my email of india times and there its nt showing any kind of order no order i am going mad over this and the reciept which arrived its nt written any where that it can be redeemed at vishal mart or big bazar which the guy was saying .. please help me ..i am so disappointed at this mistake which this guy has done ..i feel they have cheated with me taking money by fooling into giving away gift voucher membership at 555 and no membership..the point is the email id on the receipt is wrong my phone number is wrong and plus no voucher this is total cheating

India Times Shopping — Sale returned money not refunded

On 28th of August I had placed an order (No.[protected] with the company for a steam vaporizer and made the payment through my credit card. On 7th of September a wrong product was delivered to me for which a complaint was lodged by me immediately. The company promised me that a reverse pick-up shall be arranged and the correct product will be sent; but after several reminders the product was not picked up and in turn I was asked to send the product through courier to the vendor which was received by the vendor on 5th of October. Till Date I have neither received back the replacement product nor refund of my money even after calling up several times and sending mails.
yes i totally agree with him the same thing is happening
if the guys dont know how to do run a business then why the hell they are advertising we pay money and we lose money here by calling the customer care rep at our own cost they dont have a toll free number either
