iQor called twice today. They call every day.
The other number they call from is[protected].
They are harassing my family for no good reason.
Many people in the center of Ottawa seem to be having
simular calls from this iQor former CBCL telemarketer
collection company. Family members, building residents
and neighbourhood friends have all agreed to dial *57
after receiving calls from either[protected] or
[protected]. Call Trace costs $5.00 per call, but only
until $10.00 is reached in a monthly period. It will be
worth the extra $10.00 per month to get these miserable
people On A Call Trace List at the phone company
which the Police or RCMP can then investigate.

-Continue to contact you if you did not receive the notice unless a second copy of the written notice is sent to an address provided by you, and then contact may only be made six days after sending notice.

-Contact you if you send a registered letter to the agency saying that you dispute the debt and suggest the matter be taken to court.

-Contact you if you and/or your lawyer notify the agency by registered mail to communicate only with your lawyer, and you provide the lawyer's name, address and telephone number.

-Use threatening, profane, intimidating or coercive language, or use undue, excessive or unreasonable pressure.

-Continue to contact you if you have told them that you are not the person they are looking for unless they take reasonable precautions to ensure you are that person.

-Give false or misleading information to any person.

-Recommend to a creditor that a legal action be commenced against you without first sending you notice.

-Contact your employer except on one occasion to obtain your employment information, unless your employer has guaranteed the debt, the call is in respect of a court order or wage assignment or if you have provided written authorization to contact your employer.

-Contact your spouse, a member of your family or household, or a relative, neighbour or acquaintance except to obtain your address and telephone number unless the person contacted has guaranteed the debt or you have given permission for the person to be contacted.

-If a collection agency has engaged in any of these prohibited practices in dealing with you, file a complaint with the Consumer Protection Branch.
A debt collection agency called IQOR has been constantly calling me, starting the day after I phoned them after receiving their letter. During that phonecall, the person I spoke to agreed that I would be allowed a 14-day period in which to pay off my debt, but they keep calling me, more than 3 times a day, without my consent. I have done a search of this agency and it seems that there are many others like me in the same situation.
Sir,

The person is frequently doing phone call on my cell phone for the card and I have reply for the same and he suggested me to send a person for the further formalities. Inspite of this he again and again call me for the same information and unnecessary wasting my time and money as my cell on roaming. But when i leave for Mumbai from Vadodara he again call at home and my Mumbai phone is with my wife he tell my wife to give call to me but when my wife told him that he has already left for Mumbai he became angry and told her that no you are telling lie and not giving phone to your husband. so my told him not to call again but he use some abusing language and told her that i will call you regularly and harrest you on phone what you will do? So my wife is very scare for the issue and again when call came from the above number he given call to my son 13 years old so again that person is using abusing language to my child too. so they call me at Mumbai for the same I have a record for my phone call and number too in my telephonic bill for which i have already apply for the same for record.
