[Resolved]  Irctc — Non Full Refund of Fund on Cancellation of Ticket due to Train Late more than 7 hours.

Dear Sir/ Madam,

This is regarding to our TDR File on dated 26/11/2008, Regarding to our reservation E-Ticket dated 26/08/2008 Transaction ID- [protected] PNR No.[protected] for dated 29/08/2008 and Train No. 2801 (Purushottam Exp.) but Train was Late by 7 hours at Boarding Destination at Allahabad Junction so I did not take the train and Ticket could not be cancelled due to Chart Prepared so I Cancelled the Ticket by TDR File, against this cancellation I received only Half payment of Rs. 735/- against the Ticket amount of Rs. 1470/-. They have ensured me that the balance payment will be refunded soon but after contineus reminders no action taken. All the correspondance E-mail between IRCTC & me regarding refund are pasted below for your reference. So you are requested to look into the matter and take justified action.

As per your below mail that you have sent a letter to Railway Department on dated 24/07/2009 for disputed matter but till date I have not received any information from your side nor from Railway department. So I again request you to send my balance refund amount of Rs. 735/- as soon as possible.
