Poor quality of tea was served in 2650 KTK SMPRK express on 16.11.09 after Kazipet and on pointing it out the vendor of the Pantry Car said that type of tea only will be served.He was not wearing his name badge and refused to get the complaint book. I had to go to the Pantry Car No: SWR 89809 to complaint to the Manager, he was more adamant and refused to give the complaint book on the plea that he was not having one and said he had told the boy not to sell the tea but he has sold the same on his own will.His excuse was that he was not having the milk which was expected at Kachiguda station.He was not bothered because he new no action can be taken against him as there is no record of complaint.Other passengers also told me of poor quality of food served to them the previous night. My PNR NO;[protected] &[protected]. on 24.11.09 when I was coming from New Delhi to Hyderabad by 2724 AP Express, same was the situation, they were giving one menu and serving some other thing, on pointing it out they said they will rectify it when they served the meal next. My PNR No:[protected].It looks that by Railways by giving contract to IRCTC have shed their responsibility and travellers are being put to lot of problems because of the IRCTC catering in the trains. Request to kindly take suitable action and ensure that complaints book are available with the pantry managers who hpild give on demand failing which TTE/Gaurd of the train to provide the same. a.p.misra Was this information helpful? | |
