Dear Sir,
I travelled from New Delhi to New Cooch Behar on train no 2436 NDLS DBRT Rajdhani on 21-12-2010 on PNR no 2110688079. The train leaves NDLS at 9.30 am, hence no breakfast was provide on board. The welcome kit had only Juice, biscuit and two toffees. No wet tissue napkin and mouth freshener was there in so called welcome kit.

When I enquired about the breakfast, it was informed that as the train leaves at 9.30am no breakfast is served. The quantity of food served like chicken and omelet was les than the specified.

I would like to add that there are passengers coming far off from NDLS like Gurgaon, Greater Noida and for them it is not possible to take breakfast before leaving for the station. hence your stand for not supplying breakfast is unjustified.

When I asked for the Complaint book from Catering Manager, it was denied.

During return trip from New Cooch Behar to New Delhi on train no 2423 DBRT NDLS Rajdhani on 29-12-2010 on PNR no 6146896309 no welcome kit was provide in spite of asking for it. On enquiry from the catering manager Sri Surendra Raman, I got to know that that welcome kit is provided on at Gauhati and NJP stations. No welcome kit is provided to passengers entering in route. It surprising to note such discrimination.

Here also I asked for the Complaint book from Catering Manager, I was denied because complaint book is not meant for this type of complaint .The quantity of food served like chicken and omelet was les than the specified

It is requested that matter may be looked into.
Arun Kumar
