IRCTC Indian Railways — No Refund from IRCTC(Railways) on e ticket . TDR filed online on 1st Aug 2010 | |||
Given below is the details copied from the site of www.irctc.co.in. I had booked two tickets for my wife and son to travel from Sambalpur to H Nizamuddin on 31/7/2010 vide PNR No.[protected] thru www.irctc.co.in. The passengers could not travel due to some last minute emergency. I filed onlone TDR on 1st Aug 2010. Even after 150 days I am still waiting for my refund to be credited to my Bank Account. I have made several phone calls to IRCTC Help desk and sent several mails to [protected]@irctc.co.in and [protected]@irctc.co.in. But I am not getting any response from them. Disgusted with the indifferent attitude of IRCTC I am filing this complaint hoping to get the refund from Railways. The details of TDR filed on line is given below. Indian Railways & IRCTC — e ticket TDR Filed, No Refund
I had filed a TDR with TDR reference no : ekt[protected] against my E-ticket booked through IRCTC on 18/07/2011 with PNR number : [protected], for journey date :08/10/2011 from Haridwar to Dehradun.The reasons for filing the TDR were :
1) Train Late More Than Three Hours
2) Passenger Not Travelled
The TDR was filed on 08//11/2011 as per the rules but I have not received any refund against the filed TDR. The Refund status is continuously being shown as "Refund under Process" and TDR status is being shown as "Forwarded To Railway", TDR Zone "NRBSB" ion IRCTC's Website under my login ID.
Requesting you to kindly look into the matter from your end as more than 2 months have passed from the TDR filing date and I have still not received any refund.

IRCTC — TDR indian railways e tickets
Many poples are filling online TDR if their journey plan is cancelled, but indian railways are not providing money back for long long time,This is more pathetic and provoking situation in indian railways online systems which is causing trouble to passengers,
pl look into matter, already our country is much corrupted and we sees big govt corruptions everyday in TV, WHY to trouble passengers for small amounts
