[Resolved] Jabong.com — Discount Coupon not working | |||
I had received Jabong Discount coupon of Rs. 1500, on joining GOLD's Gym. When I tried to purchase certain products from the portal, the coupon was being rejected. I tried calling up JABONG Customer support and submitted my complaint with complaint ID 787338 on 17.4.13. I received a call back that this coupon is not applicable on discounted whereas the Terms and Conditions mentioned on the coupon stated otherwise. On the back of the coupon, in the Terms and Conditions, on the third points it is clearly mentioned that the coupon can be used on "discounted as well as non-discounted products". I sent the scanned copies to the Customer Support team, and lodged another complain ID no. 807798 on 23.4.13. I received a call back from the Escalation Team Manager - Shimpy. I gave her all the information regarding the case and on seeing the scanned copy of Terms and Conditions on the Coupon she assured me that the issue will be resolved within next 24 hours. I did not receive any call from anybody for next 48 hours. I then again called up the customer support and spoke with Prakshi, and then with Nafisa the Superviser of CS team. I called up again on 30.4.13 and spoke with Anil of CS team, who assured me I will receive a call back. No one called. I again called up on 1.5.13, and spoke with Mehul of CS team, he got me to speak with Nafisa (Superviser of CS team), who again tols me that she will speak to the concerned deptt and let me know. I have been on their (JABONG) tail for last 14 days and nothing has been done till date. I feel helpless, and I know that I may not be able to find a solution to the issue, but will fight to the end and take it to its logical conclusion, even if I have file a case in the Consumer courts. There hasbeen an issue with jabong. I understand that there is a heavy back log due to festive season. but i trusted jabong and placed the order with jabong, even after the fiasco of FLIPKART. Jabong has always fullfilled my expectations and even requests. this scenario that has happened wih me is little upsetting . orders delivery was bit delayed . I do not hold any one responsible for that, but the only issue is that the order was placed for some ocassion, and that ocassion was not met.Now the problem was ayt my family as the occasion was passed and i was unable to make my mother happy. However my email to [protected]@jabong.com solved the issue. They called me and listen to me, and resolved the concern. Placed another order and the new order was delivered before time . All please dro email to the Head of the department of Jabong in case u need to escalate the issue . IT well Help you .

I purchased 2 women's blouses and 1 child's t-shirt on Aug. 2lst and the 10% discount coupon offered in the Tacoma Tribune was denied. This is poor advertising and business practice even though not a great dollar amount.
