Non responding to a complaint on bag damage
I travelled to Delhi on Jetairways flight 9w257 on 25.03.2012 from colombo. Seat No 34c. Bag tags No 05899w879617/18. I was attending an assignment at the WHO till 11.04.2012. When bags were collected, one of my bags was damaged. after waiting for more than 1hour for a rep from jet airways at Delh airport , I was told by the JetAir rep that she could not accept the complaint. As I was insisting to lodge a complaint, she gave me a form to make the complaint and promised a reply by email. So far no one has replied nor have they given a word to compensate my bag damage. Once this happened to me , the Singapore airlines attended to this immediately and took measures to replace my bag as it was damaged beyond repair. So it was strange when the rep told me that Jet airways do not take responsibility for the damage while handling.
