I m using Maruti swift which is 39000 km old and are fitted with company fitted tyres that is jk tyres having tyre no.
DOT 9FCRR 2405,
DOT 9FCRR 2005,
DOT 9FCRR 2505
DOT 9FCRR 2605,
DOT 9FCRR 1905
TYRES groves are in good shape bu out of 5 tyres 3 have developed deformed shape..Is this the quality of JK Tyres I m goin take action against this in consumer court.

I purchased Esteem VXi (from Kiran Motors, Ahmedabad) & total running of car is 22000 Kms.
Company has provided JK make Tubeless tyre with car.
Since last 6 months i was facing vibration problem while driving.when it was checked for Balancing/Alignment, found that one of the tyre is faulty, It is not damaged but because of manufacturing defect one part of tyre projected out.(Deformed shape)

I purchased swift desire from standard motors from jabalpur on 01.01.09 total running of car is 10000kms

I have also same type of problem. I am having Maruti WAGONR car. Which is having 5 tyre of JK tyre which were supplied with new car. It is 20000 KM old and suddenly it was started vibrating while running. After checking it was found that out of 5 2 tyres having manufacturing defect and it was tempered so vibrating and it was told that it is dangereous too. Immidiately changed 2 tyres and applied for claim wide claim no. WAM00022609, WAM00022709 and they accepted that it is manufacturing defect and they aprroved 50% amount for both as i got SMS liek that ut when i contacted dealer through which i claimed these tyres having information that he got only 850Rs against 1 tyre and other tyre not considered for claim.
I think we all have worst experience of JK tyre and we should through this message to all our frends and relatives not to buy tyre from JK tyre as they dont have any quality check (seems) and dangerwous too and after claiming also no result.

I purchased Maruti Wagon-R (from Compenent Motors, Delhi) & total running of car is 27000 Kms.
Company has provided JK make tyre with car.
Since last 3 months I was facing vibration/wobbling problem while driving. when it was checked for, found that all of the tyre are faulty not because of Balancing/Alignment but because of deformation in the shape. All typres have defect like one part of the tyre projected out & even in one tyre wire mess comes out.
Tyre grooves are in good condition but due to deformation in shape my car is running in an unusual manner.
I am asking JK tyres is this the quality of their product?
Now I want JK company to replace all my fault tyres with new one

I purchased Maritu swift LDI and it is fitted with J K tornado. Car is 36000 KM and tyres r weak, I am not satisfied with ride quolity.

I purchased Maruti Wagon-R (from dhruv motor, Bardoli, Dis-surat Gujarat) & total running of car is 36837 Kms company has provided JK make tyre with car
Since four month i was facing vibrating/wobbling problem while driving when it was checked for found that driver side two tyre are faulty not because of Balancing/Aligment but because of deformation in shape.
so please i requist to JK Tyre company if any solution of this problem.

I too had harrowing experience with company fitted JK tires. I own maruti Wagon R. my car has run 31000 km. the frequency of puncture and tube tears is much higher. and recently while driving on NH 8 near Navsari all of sudden the rear right tyre ruptured and the loose rubber damaged my rear bumper and tail light. I communicated this to Maruti. Their representative offered part payment for tire cost but refused to believe what I told him and said this happened because the car was driven on flat tire for some distance. On highway you come to know immidiatly if a tire gets punctured by unsteady running of car.
can anyone suggest way to independently check this tire quality?

I am using JK tyres in my Matiz size 145/70 r 13 ultima am very much dissatisfied with the performace of thease tyres.
They are creating too much noise and vibratting the vehcile on 50kmph

my wagonR escaped a severe accident during my comeback trip from MAHARASTRA, on AB Road. the tyre got burst at a speed around 70km/hr, and could have ended up as a life taking accident. later i discovered that the tyre had a manufacturing defect, which was confirmed by the JK TYRE company engineer.
the tyre no is STAPNI-4207.
i got the tyre checked at the JK TYRES showroom and the engineer there gave a report of the manufacturing defect, that shows the tyre bulging and a cut on the tyre, hence it shows real more concern about the manufacturing and testing of the tyres in the company.

Sir,
We have bought 5 tyres for our vehicle, TATA INDIGO XL as TATA had suggested us to use JK tyres. We bought these tyres from your dealer in Visakhapatnam, GOPALKRISHNA TYRES against bill No. 70 dated 9-9-09. Within 40/45 days of purchase we have noticed that 2 tyres have become bald and one of them had its threads coming out. Your dealer, Mr.Prasad, from GOPALKRISHNA is not ready to accept any complaint and is not taking any responsibility. We assume that the tyres must be from old stock or could be sub-standard. We request you to look into the matter and help us with the situation. Kindly treat this as urgent.

I am using Maruti Swift VXI and it is relavitely new, with car running for approximately 18000 kms.
Suddenly one day, there were steel wire projections coming out of one of the car tyres and it almost lead into a total misbalance, as I was driving the car on an express-way on NH-8 towards jaipur. This was a total accidental hazard and it was the grace of God that the car could finally be stopped ithout causing much damage.
I seriously would want someone to look into this MANUFACTURING DEFECT as it could easily have led to something FATAL.
Hope someone from J K Tyres looks into the above mentioned.

We have been having the same problem with our Wagon R, 2007 model.
Each time we have complained about the wobbling and vibration to the Maruti Service station, when we have given for servicing, everytime it is checked for wheel balancing, bearing etc and comes back in the same condition.
Our recent trip on NH4 almost resulted in a major accident as a rear tyre burst when we were travelling at 80Kmph.
Out of the 5 tyres of JK provided with the Wagon R, , 3 tyre meshes have come out,
to whom should I complain? why does Maruti insist on going with JK tyres when there are so many complaints against it?

I have purchased Maruti Swift Vxi model from Seva auto, Nashik in 2005 and total running is 26, 000kms. This car is fitted with JK Steel Radial tyres by the company.The problem is that from last six months the tyres started rapid wear and car started vobbling, so I went to seva auto they done wheel alignment, balancing and bearing check. But the problem again started after some time and I again went to seva auto they checked car thoroghly and said every thing is ok except tyres which you need to change. Is the tyre life is only 26, 000kms? and due to vobbling we are unable to take the car on long drives and also driving not more than 40kmph.
Is it the problem of faulty tyres or greediness of Maruti Suzuki Motors to earn more profits by compramising on quality by providing inferior quality ?
We really don't know to whom we should appraoch?

I have purchased Maruti Wagon R LXI E3 in 2006 and total running is 19, 000kms. This car is fitted with JK Steel Radial tyres by the company.The problem is that the tyres started rapid wear and car started vobbling, so I have to get changed 2 tyres immediately and seems have to get changed another 3 soon and also get done wheel alignment, balancing and bearing check.
My question
1. My tyres grip is good but it tored.
2. Whether tyre life is only 19, 000kms?
3. Is it a greediness of Maruti Suzuki Motors to earn more profits by compramising on quality by providing inferior quality ?
We really don't know to whom we should appraoch?

After our cpmplaint about the tyre burst on NH4, we have been approached immediately by JK tyre service engineer, who offered complete replacement of the burst tyre, but refused to replace the 3 tyres where the meshes have come out, we were given addresses of JK tyre dealers whom we could contact for replacement,
From past 2 months we have been doing nothing but going from delaer to dealer, all of them say they dont have stock of JK tyres, Finally we drove 25kms to a tyre dealer to whom we had to explain all the details once again, He asked us for 1000Rs to give a replacement for the tyre.
We couldnt beleive that, JK insistes on asking customers to pay for a tyre which has burst on the highway!!!
We have subsequently changed all our tyres to MRF, and are advising all relatives and friends not to go in for JK.
We will once again approach JK with our complaint, in case we dont get any positive response, I think it will be ideal to approach consumer court.

i purchased wago r car in 2007 and after running 30, 000 km suddenly my car started vibrating,
initially i thought that must be some alignment problem but even after that problem continues.
so i went for my mechanic and he told me that ur tyres are not good in condition, requiring replacement .
i asked the reason for it, replied that it must be company fault. because my car was maintained properly, so must be that reason .
so i had a bad really bad experience with this tyres.
i think i suppose to go for this to consumer court. hope wil get justice.

I own a Santro which has run 47500 kms.I had bought anew set of JK tyres(all 4), which haven't done more than 5000 kms.Two of these tyres have become deshaped..apparently because the metal ribs have snapped.As a result, the car has been very wobbly.Am disappointed.

i had the same problem with my tyres it deformed, and my front tyre started to vobble, i complained to the service engineer ... after a heated conversation he agreed to replace the tyre by paying the amount of =the used tyre ie. the depth of the groove finished worn= the % i have to pay ie if my tyre's groove measured 5mm thd new tyre groove measured 8mm ive got to pay 40% of the full amount, now this is a new warranty service ive ever come across till date.Has the meaning of warranty re writen by the JK tyre mamagement or is the engineer trying to be smart?
