[Resolved]  Kallada Travels — Please dont book ticket on kallada

Hi All

This sunday[protected] i had booked a ticket from Thiruvalla-Bangalore on Suresh Kallada volvo. The bus started at 5pm and after reaching border by around 2 pm they asked us to board another kallada G4 volvo bus which was comming from bangalore to Kerala as they told they doesnt have any tax permit on the first bus. After boarding to next bus with lot of baggages by around 5am they told the bus is having some issue and at any it time it may stop and almost 140 km away from hosur something broken and bus stopped. Driver told he was informed earlier itself about this but he has no other option given by kallada. After calling kallada office for help for most of the people got some threatening words from other side and asked us to try ourself to reach bangalore or have to wait for another 4- 5 hrs so that they can see some option. As we have to reach office most o[censored]s took cab by paying extra 320 rs and reach home. Ladies who waited for alternative bus did nt get anything till 11 am. I am seeing this as a normal think after paying 840 or 900 rs its becomming our responsiblity to reach bangalore not kallada. There was a previous experience on same travel where we have threatened by some gunda or rowdies in trissur when we complain the AC is not working and we were forced to travel, Those who objected was asked to get down on some remote place( I dont know what happen to them). This is posting because i dont want atleast others to be cheated by them(BEWARE of Kallada)

A1 travels — Speaking vulgar words

I booked a ticket from Perundurai to bangalore.they told me the bus will arrive at 11.45 i was on point at 11:40
i asked representative,he told the bus will come in 10 or 15 min i waited till 12 clock,
again i asked him he said the bus was in traffic will come in 15 min,
I waited now 12:35. I scolded him why are u doing like this finally the bus came my seat number is 23, but that seat number is already booked.
and again they told me to wait for some time.i got angry and asked so many questions,
for that they were telling vulgar words,and they are behaving like rowdies,
they told me to get in to one bus, but i didn't book that bus,that is different bus,
they took my ticket that i have booked and gave me on boarding pass.
they really cheated me finally i got the bus at 1.clock.


next day morning my office

on[protected] i booked for a multi axle volvo B9r for 1000rs from Thrissur to banglaore
.departure time was at 9.30pm but the bus came at 10.30pm .
The bus was an ordinary a/c (a piece of junk) . my co-passengers was from various parts of country they also got annoyed by that bus . i got frustrated by this because that was not the first incident that happened to me.
we altogether asked to the agent for the right bus, but they were acting like they were not responsible for that, even the driver was not even talking.

As we all need to reach the destination by time and the mid-night forced the people with me to travel in that stupid bus.
The seat numbers were provided according to the multi axle volvo in our bus tickets that is computer generated, since the bus has been changed we struggled to get the proper seat numbers. At last i also got the seat number 41... i was enjoying that moment.

The passenger comfort of that old bus was very pathetic- especially the seats. All were struggling to keep their luggage and themselves comfi.
Bus started and in the middle it stopped in Mannuthy to add few more passengers. They were also struggling to find out their seat numbers. few of the north guys started shouting at the agent then the agent ran away. There was no other assistant with the driver . the bus was actually running from Allappy to bangalore with a single driver, he has to drive all the way in the night..(Passenger safety became a ?)

Then by god's sake the bus reached hosur.From there they arranged a Real B9r Volvo all passengers forced to get into it.
i've noticed one thing that old bus was a KL(kerala) registration and the B9r was a KA (karnataka) reg . may be they arranged at the edge of border to get some tax benifit. Am still unaware of their profit harvesting techniques...

All the passengers in that bus were cheated and no one is going to complain about these...
they refused to open the hood under the bus where baggage space is available, bus driver compelled everyone to keep their luggage inside the bus.
Worst service i ever had...never ever use kallada service...worst of the worst service...i used kallada when i didn't had any other choice...had to face alll the problems which ever is mentioned above...
Killer bus KALLADA strikes again!!!
Today morning kallada bus (Ranni - Bangalore) met with an accident near Salem . Unfortunately me and my wife was there in the bus. Luckily we escaped with minor scratches. The bus was travelling at HIGH SPEED WITHOUT ANY HEADLIGHT!!! Was hitting on a side divider and was falling over to the service road a meter down...after the accident the driver and cleaner escaped in another Kallada bus that came along...without even bothering about the injured ones...lots were injured badly and taken to hospital...The passengers escaped breaking through the back glass...Thank God we are safe and the Kallada group will always be!!! Just not sure, when they will stop playing with human lives in spite of travel rate hikes...
Just heard from one of the injured who was in hospital that many are still in hospital with serious injuries and fractures!! ...and another sad news, on the same day 3 KALLADA BUS met with accident of which in one accident 2 people have died

I was traveled Kallada on 15 th september (Ernakulam to Hyderabad).The bus driver rashely drove the bus.The bus met the accident in Salem highwayarround 7:30 pm.The bus went up to 120 km and try to over take contanier lory, Driver lost the contol, the bus turn and enter to the next lane road.Unfortunately a bike persion came along with his family.The bus accident the bike and hit in to road side baarier, no casuality in the bus.But two children, husband and wife ???
Don't depend Kallada Travels . They are not keeping their time .
If you come down to your native for attending some urgent function please don't depend their bus.
I had faced the same issue in my last travel from Bangalore to Chengannur in Kallada G4 bus departed from Madiwala at 8.30PM on 13/08/2014.

ITS THE BEST BUS SERVICE I HVE EVER HAD...I DONNO HOW IT GOT SOOO MUCH COMPLAINTS
Hello every one..
M deepak from banglore... Last night(11th oct) i travelled from banglore to cochin by volvo sleeper (KA 51 B 3197) of kallada travel's . my seat no was UB1 just behind the driver. My complaint on drivers that they were so rude to the passengers. Whole night they were playing some stupid malayalam and tamil songs n were talking to each other so loudly.. I requested them to switch off the music atleast... They were shouting on me in some unknown language... And the seat which i have selected was not at all comfortable, so i requested them to change of seat as there was so many seats were empty.. They refused for that also and shouted again on me.. As they were shouting i felt like they were abusing me in some some third class language... I felt so bad .. I couldnt get sleep for whole journey... This was ridiculous... I never ever try kallda travels in my life again, i ll insist ma friends and relatives that not to go for it...
I booked a ticket from Mysore to Hyderabad.they told me the bus will arrive at 6.45 pm i was on point at 6:30
i asked representative, he told the bus will come in 7 pm i waited till 8 pm,
again i asked him he said the bus was in traffic will come in 15 min,
I waited till 10:15. Finally bus started at 10.20 pm and after reaching Bangalore by around 2 pm they asked us to board another kallada volvo at finally we reached Hyderabad next morning 10.30 am we lost half day office.

I am suggesting please do not choose kallada travels WORST SERVICES...
Kallada A/C Sleeper from Kottayam to Bangalore

The last sleeper seat both on left and right side are terribly hot. You can't sleep because of the heat generating by rear engine. Also the seats are very small...which will not allow you to stretch your legs. You have keep folding your legs while sleeping. They're charging very high prices, but the quality is very low.

I have complained this to bus assistant (its very hot I can not sleep). I want to sleep in the near by seat which is empty.
But he doesn't allow me to do that. He spoke me roughly.
Firstly I booked a Left single seat in Kallada Travels Sleeper through Red Bus.

I booked the Left side because, on the left side only 1 seat is available and usually no disturbance

However on the day of the travel, a male passenger had booked near me still knowing that he was not supposed to...then I was forced to change seat...

Then I was given seat on the right side with some other passenger and I was forced to take the seat which I did not prefer...what is the use of preebooking when we are not allowed to sit on the seat we choose..secondly very bad in maintaining timings...bus gets late to reach destination everytime...
I tried calling up your Villupuram booking office number [protected] to book a ticket from Villupuram to Tenkasi on (26/11/2017)from 7.10 pm to 9.30pm there was no reply from mobile number I personally sent my PA to Kallada office Kuber Plaza at Villupuram at 9.30pm the response from your office staff Mr.Rishi reply was that this above said mobile phone was with Mr.Ramdass and Mr.Anand who was responsible for office was not at all in office.So how do customers supposed to book ticket in your office when we go personally or either we call the mobile number.This is the service you give to your cleints.Is this your own office or your agents.Kindly let us know to book in Villupuram office or online.the mobile number which I call is [protected] check the details on your mobile number.

as I have traveled first time in kallada travels from chennai to salem but I had a bad experience with that. they are very mad people. they treated the passengers very badly. dont prefer kallada travels...
Extremely rude staff and a pathetic customer care service:

We were in Vythiri from 2.30 pm. The bus which was supposed to come at 3 pm, didn't turn up till 3.30 pm.
We called up Kallada customer care and we were shocked to hear from them that the bus had already left Vythiri.
We tried calling the driver too, but no use. We had no choice but to wait and the bus finally came around 4 pm.
A customer care which doesn't even track its buses is very pathetic.

The bus later stopped for dinner at one place. The conductor told us that the bus will not stop for more than 20 min.
In view of the time, we quickly took parcel from the hotel and started eating.
The extremely rude conductor came to me and shouted at me and immediately wanted me to close the box I was eating, without giving any reason . This rude conductor has one of these phone numbers [protected] or [protected].
The conductor treated me as if I was traveling freely in his bus, but I had paid close to 1000 Rs which was much higher than fare in KSRTC bus.

Kallada staff should learn from other travels and KSRTC on how to treat customers.
I vow never to travel by KALLADA again because of the rude behavior of the staff mentioned above
