[Resolved]  Karma Royal Resorts — Cheating innocent visitors coming to Goa

By this piece of complaint I want to warn unsuspected travellers who waste their precious holiday time and are being cheated by this so called cheat comapny called Karma Royal Group. <br />
The modus operandi is that travellers moving aroung Goa on Holidays are approached by their agents (whom they themself call kidnapper) giving lure of prize vouchers containg false promises on free stay, ipod, restaurant vounchers, boating trips etc. They convince the unsuspected travellers that they are just promoting their resorts and want to publicise the same by providing free stays etc. and would like to take them to show the resort .<br />
Once the traveller who has come to Goa on holiday by spending money on travel and hotels etc. falls into their trap of free stay and other instant prizes to be given and agrees to come along with them, he is picked by the kidnapper and taken to their resort. <br />
Once you are there, without any consideration their actors just start playing drama introducing different persons and you are made to sit with your entire family for listening their non-stop commentary on resorts, time share plans, how you are wasting your life without joing them and other type of brain washing exercises. After 2-3 hours of non stop commentaries by different digfferent persons they start presurrising you to agree to take their membership which costs 3-4 lakhs.<br />
The real colous appear when you refuse to take that and asks for the prizes promised. Than comes some bouncer type persons in picture who would inform you that you are not entitled for any of the instant prizes and you should just take a voucher, which you obviously would not be able to use and leave.<br />
If you demand your promised prize they imkeditaely start misbehaving.<br />
By the time you learn your mistake you had already lost your one day for which you had paid money to your hotel and you had come so far away from your home to enjoy holidays.<br />
Despite being aware of such cheats I myself became their victim when they assured me that I should just listen to their resort promotion for one hour and I would be provided free stay immediately after that, than and there.<br />
But when I demanded the assured prize I was told restaurent is closed, boat trip timings are over, free stay only with 2 months advance booking and like that. That bugger became so rude and abusive when I started protesting.<br />
So beware of Karma Royal Group and its fraudsters moving around Goa. <br />
You can imagine what kind of service this CHEAT KARMA ROYAL GROUP might be providing to its members.

Royal resort — cheating

i had joined royal membership 3yrs back.. till today am not getting a single holiday.. am fed up calling and emailing their call center but no response..
I have come across your posting, and wish to write in relation to the negative comments and assertions which appear in relation to our organization, Royal Resorts.

Assertions made by you and others imply that we are a dishonest company, pursuing dishonest policies, and that we are perpetrating a ‘scam’ on the general public. We take this very seriously, particularly as we feel that this by no means reflects a balanced view of what we actually represent or are committed to as a company. I would therefore like to furnish you with some key facts regarding our organization and our core business values.

Royal Resorts was founded almost 20 years ago, and has enjoyed a considerable degree of success since its inception. The Group portfolio now includes a substantial number of resorts (18 to date), we have achieved a great many awards, celebrity endorsements, and have enrolled over 50, 000+ family members, the vast majority of whom are extremely happy with the product and service that we provide - quality affordable holidays in some of the world’s most desirable destinations.

We have always taken our success seriously and responsibly, in particular we have supported and continue to support numerous children’s charities as well as maintaining a strong customer focus. One of our key charities, supported since its’ doors opened many years ago, is Christel House in Bangalore. This is a school for impoverished children living in the area. Our involvement ensures that all of these children, now totaling close to 1, 000, are fed throughout the school year, and hence can benefit from the opportunity being made available to them. We also hold an annual summer camp for the Christel House children who have performed best during the year at our resorts in Goa. For many children this will be the first time they have ever had a holiday, or indeed seen the sea or a beach!

The nature of our operations, mean that in any given year we see around 35, 000 families, all of whom attend presentations similar to those mentioned in the site. Taken in its totality we actually receive relatively few complaints representing a tiny percentage of the people we see and service, but we believe that any complaints have a voice and need to be addressed.

For this reason we recently launched a new customer services drive, expanding and improving the service division of the company. As part of this process we have engaged an independent consultant to identify complainants and deal with any issues. Measures such as these are testament to how seriously we take all the feedback we receive.

In the context of the site and complaints therein, if you feel you have a serious and valid complaint about the organization, we are very open to discussing the issues and where appropriate working with you in achieving and agreeable resolution.

Royal Karma Group / Royal Resorts is just like a Ponzii scheme. They are taking money from new clients and giving preference to existing foreign tourists. IT IS A SCAM! I hope regulatory authorities look into these fraudulent groups. I was a member for many years but never got a booking, agents told me to book for trips 12 months in advance. I am planning to discontinue the service. Customer Service is just pathetic.
Try to avoid this Karma Royal Group and enjoy your holidays you have come for. This is some group run by a Gora who nobody knows him, they dont have any balance sheet of their company and since it is not registered in India you dont have any rights.
My advice keep away from such company if you have paid money then make it a point to get your holiday of your kind else consider what you have given has bad debt
Dear friends, there is no such things as free lunch in todays world...please quote it.You may name any timeshare companies worldwide the marketing strategies to promote their resort are more or less similar.As you get excited to proclaim your assured free stay/holiday vouchers/white goods etc are a source to have one-on-one interaction with the would be members.I personally believe timeshare is the best way to holiday around the globe with your loved ones, the benefits are 1>it is cost effective, 2>it gives you hassle free holidays, 3>you can have control over inflation in longrun, 4>excellent quality resorts, 5>gives you home away from home atmosphere during your stay, last but not the least 6>you can enjoy international holidays at indian price with 6500 resorts to choose around the globe through rci/dae/interval international are more popular in India.
So please dont blame the industry or any one player as these promotions provides win win situation both for the owners and the customers., some play it hard and others bit lenient orelse dont go running for free lunch..there is no such terminology.Be happy and enjoy your holidays.

Mr Arora i guess u are from delhi .. i dont blame you all fart no ... its been the markiting policy feom the time the company started and now its 19 years and they do well and diliver as all .. always check the weight inur wallet before you enter sales office .. when u cant buy it it bad the company is bad and all that crap ..
Dear young boys and girls this is to keep you alert never believe to KARMA ROYAL GROUP they are real cheaters and fraudulent group, they are expert on making fool mainly to the young boys and girls they recruited to be employed in their group and they don't pay they cheated them given excuses...where ever their branches INDIA, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia Goa etc they are same people all are involve with the same policy. this is my experience i'm sharing with you all, even my brother was recruited to work in their company and in the interview they didn't mention any term and condition later they create new term and he was not pay head cheater in India Deepti Sandhu (Soni) be aware of this lady who headed in India...i believe God will really judge on them. Cheater Group KARMA ROYAL GROUP: They didn't cheat only to the clients but also they cheat to the employed, hire young boys and girls and they didn't pay the wage making fool on them...BE ALERT. I think Government should take the legal action on them because there are still many people who didn't know computer and they are not aware of their games so we need to prevent from such fraud company...

They didn't lie only with the clients but also they lie and badly cheated with their employer they didn't pay salary...they hire young girls & boys push them to work for them and after a month they kick out without paying their wages so my dear friends be aware of this BEAST KARMA GROUP THEY CAN DO ANYTHING FOR THE MONEY I BELIEVE THE OWNER OF THIS GROUP MAY BE THE REAL BEAST...
Above all complataintants did not take full membership . what can analysis the resort. they listen complatints only how they promote sechemes
Karma Royal Group, Royal Resorts, Royal Palms Resort, Haathi Mahal resort, monte rio baga, they are all the same. My husband an i were victims of these scammers, they are a scam for sure. they talk about all the resorts they have but someone in goa told me they dont own all of them, they lease most of them. keep away from them and demand your money back.we were there december and never again.

i was referring a friend to the club and he stated that he had seen bad remarks about it. I was dismayed because i have been a member for almost a decade and have had quite a few memorable stays with this group. Some of the comments are quite over the top and had i to read these i wouldn't perhaps no go in for the m'ship...thank god i didn't...because i enjoy my annual holiday with my family and at times even multiple bonus weeks for friends and family. Please people i have made many a friends with royal members over the years n most seem very happy. keep up the good work guys...members like me will always back you up... And i will try to post this comment as many times as possible on different websites.cheers!!!
i m a new victom of this group and paid 10000 Rs can enyone tell me how i get my mny back.
i went to goad with my husband same thing were happened to me, One of Karma Royal's sales agent stopped in front o[censored]s a guy come to me n said i[censored]r a lucky wil get a call & voucher for holiday, next day we get a call my husband were so happy to see that, warned him that 1 hr is over.As usual I had to waste my time of 2 hrs with my family at their resort.The presentation was good and I clearly understood the benefits and fantastic luxury. But he pressed me to take a decision of paying 3.5 lakhs then and there itself. When I said I wont take decisions on the hour, he completely started behaving rude and was looking down as if people who are coming there are beggars. Teaser's like you dont have little money of 10000.00 for initial registration etc...

We havent paid that ... but they have given us the voucher of 40000 & 7 days.
Is this true voucher, shall we plan for holiday..???? pls suggest[protected] kaya siddique
