Kingfisher Airlines — Refund against cancellation from KF airlines

Dear Sir, I'd suppose to travel with your kingfisher Red IT 3148(PNR-NJKFUG) on 7 Nov 2010 my e-ticket number 090-[protected] and makemytrip booking id booking id NF[protected] .which was cancelled without any reason and they informed me 1 day before via a sms because of which I have to rush immediately from the city. This flight is to travel from Indore to Mumbai and from Mumbai I have another flight to catch for Bangalore.
I tried to spoke on your customer care executives several times but they did nothing rather than waiting and bad response. They are not flexible with date also and other options all they talking about to cancel my flight and refund me money. None is serious to solve my problem all they can do is to say sorry . Because of this I have to rush a day before from the city which causes me from both sides financially as well as mentally. I have business to do on 6th of Nov. and lots of meetings to attend which couldn't be possible because of it. The only option is to travel from Indore to Mumbai is via bus or train or lost the other flight also. This not only ruined by business plans but also my Deepawali celebration with my family to whom I am meeting after 2 years. I can't accept this from a 5 star airlines which always make promises about the care of their customers’ think this event not justify your motto. I travel India from many airlines but this is the worst experience I face and can't believe it's from kingfisher. Please don't disgrace your image and lost trust of your customer because of them only you’re fling high. I wish you are not surprise if I bring this issue to the consumer forum and as a good airlines support me and ready to face it and give me an opportunity to fix this type of mistakes that saves your customer to face this type of mental harassment. Please don't ruin someone's business and holiday for making some profit. I have not got any refund and other chargers till now.

Hope you'll take this into right spirit,

Happy if I'll get the reply against it.

Kingfisher Airlines — No job guarantee

Hello. I'm Fiza from Mira Road & I had enrolled with Kingfisher for Air hostess training program course. Its been few months, I've been sent for umpteen interviews but nothing has worked as yet. It hasn't landed a job as yet.

I need to know what should be my next step, What exactly would it need for me to get a job at the earliest.

Awaiting your response ASAP.

Thank You.
During my travel from Chennai to Ahmedabad on 6th my bag lock was broken and materials were taken off. It was reported to ground staff at Ahmedabad. Their response was highly negative and treating the matter as a very common one. Their names are Mr.Nehil and Mr.John. It was a deliberate attempt to steal the materials. How Kindfisher is going to respond for incident.

Kingfisher Airlines — Carelessness by Customer Care staff cost me quite a lot of time & Money

I would like to share with you a very bad experience that i have encountered which has resulted in a loss of considerable amount
of time and money to me.

On 11th December, i called up the Customer care service centre of Kingfisher regarding re-scheduling of an International air ticket
(Singapore-Mumbai). The PNR No. was LMMTFC.

I was told that i couldnt extend the ticket because it was in a special fare rule within which the return flight couldnt be extended beyond 30 days.
This was a surprise to me (but frankly this was more of a problem on the travel agent side as they didnt mention this condition during booking.)

Anyways, i checked with the Kingfisher Customer care (at around 01.00 PM IST) on what would be the amount that would be refunded to me if i cancelled
the return ticket.

I was told the base fare would not be refunded and the tax of Rs.6482 would be refunded to the Travel Agent (As booking was done from Travel agent).
I agreed to this and was given a confirmation that the ticket was cancelled.

I called my Agent Makemytrip.com and informed them that i had cancelled my ticket and they could expect to get a refund of Rs.6482 from Kingfisher.
I was told by them that they received only a refund of Rs.4699 from the airline which surprised me.

I called the airline again to confirm (At around 2.30 PM IST) and they re-confirmed to me that the refund was Rs.6482.

Based on this, i called Makemytrip again saying that i had re-confirmed but they still insisted that they did a re-check and the amount was only Rs.4699

Hence, i called the Kingfisher Customer care again and explained to them what the scenario was i.e
The Amount confirmed by Airline was Rs.6482 and the amount the agent mentioned they received was Rs.4699.

I was told that they will clarify this with the agent.
They got back to me saying that the amount Rs. 4699 was correct.

I feel that this is unacceptable as i took a decision to cancel my ticketr purely on the information that the refund would be Rs.6482.
If i knew, the amount was Rs.4699 i wouldnt have taken a decision to cancel and stuck to my itinerary.

What i do not understand 2 people from the Kingfisher CUstomer care have confirmed to me the Amount was Rs. 6482 (at 2 different times i.e. the first time when i called to
check and cancel and 2nd time when i called to re-confirm).
Then why is it that the Amount suddenly changed to Rs.4699 ?

I requested to talk to the Customer care executive who i had initially liased with and the one who had initially confirmed that
the amount was Rs.6482. She tells me that it was a computer Mis-calculation that happened which was showing the amount as Rs.6482 whereas actually it should have been
Rs.4699.

In that case, I asked her to revoke my cancellation and said i wanted my ticket back but they say, once cancelled, it cannot be re-activated.

I asked her to refund the initial promised amount to me. She declined that too.

This is another case wherein the Company's make mistakes and let the consumers suffer for it.

I have always had a good experience with whatever is related to the Kingfisher group but this incident has badly dented my regard for the same.

Kingfisher — could not board the flight

We reached the air port 45 mins prior to the flight. We had a flight at 6:45 from Kolkatta to Hyderabad but we were not allowed to check in. After a 15 min discussion they wrote on our ticket "Reported 6.14". It is a sign of extremely poor customer service. We are extremely disappointed. There has to be a check on this. Please take action.

Kingfisher Airlines — Flight Delayed by more than 2 hours and unprofessional behaviour of the staff

Hello There,
This is in reference to the Kingfisher flight no IT – 203 From Delhi to Bangalore, which was scheduled to depart Delhi at 9:25 AM on 18th December 2010 but was delayed by more than 2 hours and departed Delhi at 12:05 PM and landed in Bangalore after 3:00 PM on 18th December.
I had my wife and a 15 months old son travelling on the flight, I would like to bring this to your notice that the unprofessional behavior of your staff is something which concerns me and would have to think twice next time I book a kingfisher flight. There was no announcement for the delay at the airport even till 9:30 AM and not a single Kingfisher employee was available at the gate no. 58 from where the flight was scheduled to leave.
I also would like to inform you that there was no assistance provided to her even though she was with the infant both on ground and on board. The staff accompanied her from the booking counter and left her before the security checking stating that he is not allowed to go beyond this point and she has to carry the cabin baggage and the infant herself, on board none of the staff helped her to keep the luggage to overhead cabin and were busy in their chat. This is something which surely is hampering the reputation of Kingfisher. I booked the tickets with kingfisher even though it was more costly than other airlines only due to the reason that you guys would be more professional and my wife and son would not have any troubles on the contrary they had to deal with the most unprofessional attitude by your staff.
This was one of the most unprofessional attitudes I have ever faced by an airline. I thought of sharing this to you so that you can look into it and make the necessary changes.
Apart from bringing this to your notice I would also like to be compensated for the delay which was more than 2 hours. As per the ruling by State Consumer Commission they have announced a compensation of Rs 10000 per passenger for any flights getting delayed by more than 2 hours scheduled to and from Delhi. Ticket PNR is COHMRS

I hope to hear back from you on the same.

Kingfisher Airlines — missing baggage

Am pardeep kumar lost-short received baggage dubai to delhi flight no.IT0042 dated[protected] passenger baggage no.101290
My nephew Mr.Supratik Roy, businessman and a resident of Pune Maharashtra, travelled from Mumbai to Bangkok by Kingfisher on the 20th December and returned to Mumbai by flight no IT064 on 24th December 2010. After more than one and a half hours after clearing immigration at Mumbai on the morning of 24th December he and some fellow passengers were informed by the ground staff that their checked baggage had been off loaded at Bangkok itself in order to accommodate some 65+ large screen TV sets and other electronic equipment which were being imported by person(s) travelling in the same flight, at the instruction of their "higher authorities". My nephew Mr.Supratik Roy was categorically assured by the said ground staff that his bags bearing Tag Nos IT 064370/1 would be delivered at Pune airport the same evening (24th December). The bags contain business related papers of vital importance, apart from all his good clothes.
Baggage bearing Tag Nos IT 064370/1 are still not delivered at the time of writing this complaint about 48 hours after arrival of the said flight no IT064 in spite of regular follow up.

His phone number is[protected]

In this connection the following points are material:

1. Passengers were told of the baggage off loading more than five hours after departure of their flight from Bangkok
2. No specific information about the misplaced baggage is available with any luggage handling ground person at Mumbai as also the Kingfisher station in charge in Pune
3. No one from Kingfisher made a single call to him in the last 48 hours since detection of the incident explaining the true state of affairs and he is completely in the dark and running from pillar to post
4. The Original baggage tags have since been admittedly replaced by the airline with ”transit” baggage tags and the list containing old baggage tag numbers and their corresponding new numbers was not made available
5. No one in Kingfisher could provide the phone number of any senior official of luggage handling.
6. No escalation Matrix is available anywhere in the public domain to take the matter up with any higher authority of Kingfisher
7. The Kingfisher toll free helpline could not provide any information on the matter
8. The luggage handling ground persons at Mumbai when contacted over phone from Pune at 7.05 pm on 25th December informed the caller that their duty hours are from 9 am to 7 pm and that they would not attend to any queries after 7.00 pm.
9. While issuing the Lost luggage Form at Mumbai airport on 24th December the ground personnel did not fill in any serial number/file number in the space provided, thereby making it impossible for anyone to use the tracking mechanism independently

I wonder if this is the normal/ standard state of affairs now a days with Kingfisher Airlines.
Looks like many have faced similar issue with Kingfisher
I want print of my booked ticket, PNR no. is HELXMMN, and travelling date was 4/1/11 (from Ahmedabad to New Delhi). Pl help.

Kingfisher — did not allow to board

Dear Madam
Thanks for the feed back of the actions taken.Firstly if the search would have found the luggage ,the complaint would not have been there. The theft in the sky is more serious matter of security and passenger safety and i would like to know what actions are taken so that i can put them to on face book and in forums. Police are there to gaurd on land and we hope your Mr Scarlet,Clive and shumbankar staff were not even willing to make annonce ments. Your sympthy could not make up for the losses and the new year plans we have made .

Awating your feed back.
Thankig you

Kingfisher Airlines — ticket refund

I am very much disappointed by the service which Kingfisher has offered me. I always belived it to be the best airline in terms of service this proved me very much wrong. I had booked the ticket with above captioned PNR for Mumbai Patna on 09/02/11 through Yatra.com. My flight schedule departure was 12.15 p.m but I received a call on 09/02/11 at 6.45 a.m from the number [protected] stating the flight has been reschdeuled to 2.10 p.m. And when I went to the airport at 12.00 p.m, your guys informed me the flight has already departed. They told they can do nothing as the call was made from call centre, I have to mail you on the same id for the refund.

This was the complaint I have mailed them 3 times but there was no respond from the airlines

Kingfisher Airlines — Not allowed to board

Hi,

I am Manoj Thorat and was supposed to travel by Kingfisher flight IT3181, from Mumbai to Chennai having PNR - CDUJVP.

I checked in with a seat no 28D. This flight was at 6.25 am at the International terminal. During the rush hours, there was a lots of rush at the security checking. After the security check in, I proceeded to the counter. With one of the person from Kingfisher Airlines, I was misled to go to Level 0 for boarding. Where as the flight was from Level 2. I had to come back to Level 2. I was at the counter at 6.04 am for boarding and the person Mr. Anit Trivedi recorded the time as 6.05 am and did not allow me to board the flight citing that it is an international terminal and we cannot allow further delays. As per the rule I was within 20 minutes at the Gate and I was yet not allowed. On the contrary there was nobody from the airlines at the security checking for speeding up or no announcements or call on my mobile. I have missed an important meeting at Chennai and I am at total loss. I look forward to a compensation from the airport authority and the Kingfisher airlines.

Thanks.

Manoj
