[Resolved]  Kingfisher Airlines / Yatra.com — Amount not refunded

Dear Sir/Madam,

I had purchased a ticket to travel from Mumbai to Hyderabad online for 02.May.2008 on the 26.04.08 and paid by credit card, however due to some unavoidable circumstances had to cancel the ticket and was advised that the amount will be put back on to my card as per the process - It has been more than a year since the trasaction was done and I have not received anything back on my card yet. I have been waiting VERY patiently for this to be sorted but to no avail. To ensure that I have not deprived yatra of the last chance I called them even today and they denied to give me the reference number and tried to bluff me with my original booking reference - when I further insisted saying I need the # to submit an online complaint on consumer forum he said he cannot give me any number without his manager's permission (Is it not my right to get a reference #???) The person i spoke to was Anshul Jain from Yatra at 9:55AM on the 3 May 2009, he then came back and said I could use the original booking reference - 31INYS. He asked me to get in touch with the airlines again as they cantrefund the amount. I do not know who owns this but please note it has been more than a year since Yatra/Kingfisher have held my money without even interest. Below is the mail trail - PLEASE HELP ME GET MY MONEY BACK!

Can someone please take ownership of this issue!! I have been told by the Yatra team to contact you(Airlinesdirectly) for a refund - I have highlighted the matter in the mail below and now I get a response from the airline to contact the travel agent!!!

Please decide who owns this and get the refund processed ASAP!

I am waiting for a response in this regard - I still do not see why the customer has to suffer because Kingfishers systems are being upgraded???

After repeated phone calls spanning over 9 months I have been told to get a reference number for the refund requested.

All the details of the flight have been listed below - this travel was cancelled and I was informed that the money after necerssary deductions will be put back on my card. Till date no such refund has come through.


Please give me the refund reference number on priority - I do not see any reason why a simple monetary transaction could take 9 months to materialise - I am really interested in knowing the "complicated" process invloved.

Paramount Airways Pvt. Ltd. — no delivery of mail after one week

i am jaydip kumar, working in paramount airways, coimbatore, india. i sent a mail with some important document through india speed post to my brother , pradip kumar, kolkatta, india on 22nd Dec.'07, but till today 29th Dec'07 my mail wasnot delivered to my brother. my article no ET[protected]IN. In the web also, there is no information about my mail.

I have been the member of kingfisher airlines since December 2008. I got a mail from Kingfisher that I will be getting my Card and Personalized tags and guide within a week, but till now I haven't received anything.

I have reminded them at least 10 times by now. Every time the response is "You will be getting it within 15 days". Nobody has any information regarding this.

Please help.

My yatra reference number-[protected].& i have booked ticket from last 2month. Yatra is not refunding the money & they are delaying for another 2month.
Yatra is cheating customer & keeping lakhs of money without intrest. Pls join all customer & help to refund the money.
