[Resolved]  KINGSTON 32 GB PEN DRIVE — IT'S A FAKE PEN DRIVE.

Hi All, Same complained to me also, What we will do? How to stop duplicater pen drive man? Please get together on place and we will go to Kingston company or If any person will get who sold duplicate man in next time so please arrest to police station or don't buy anything from unknown person.

hello guyz i m ronnie massey from lko 1 week ago i was standin near by nishatganj and then this f##kin guy came from nowhere he was well dressed!! i bought this f##kin fake 32gb kingston drive for jst 300 bugs!! it shows 32gb but in reality it is only 1 gb pen drive or less!!!
i tried to fix the problem by the help of panasonic sd formatter !!! i formatted my f##kin pendrive!! there is ltl bit improvement in this f##kin pendrive!! friends try it!!!
this is the first time in my life that i got fooled by that f##kin fake people
friends i learnt from it that donooooooott trust any f##kin stranger or human!!!

First off, Kingston is not at fault at all. You should buy stuff LEGALLY and from a verified vendor, not some who posts up shop somewhere.
Honestly its your own fault you got scammed. You guys are dumb and should of realized there was something fishy going on.

There are fake Kingston 32 GB pendrive being sold for 400-600 Rs. Do not buy them.Thy look real do not get deceived by them, they are being sold by websites.

Hi Today (23/02/09), one guy came to our office and sold out 8 pieces 32GB Kingston pen drives for Rs.500/-. After we bought we tested them, it was actually showing 32GB space, but not coping the data not more than 4GB. Be careful of these fellow guys.

Just i have met him(haryana guy). now i am checking the 32 pendrive(kingstone) with 6 GB data.If it is not working properly i will give complaint to police. see than what will happen.

I have warned all of my friends and colleagues about this but they are in the impression that it depends on the luck...

And some of them are telling that "They might have stolen from ship and selling USBs without knowing the value of them".

I don't know what to do with these people...!!!

We need to change these people first then only these kinds of fake things will be stopped

Kingston pen drive (32 GB) — FAKE PEN DRIVE

I HAVE BOUGHT KINGSTON 32 GB PEN DRIVE FROM UNKNOWN PERSON,
WHEN I BOUGHT IT, I JUST CHECKED ITS CAPACITY WHICH WAS SHOWING PERFECT,
BUT AFTER A USE WHAT I KNEW...

1. The data in the pendrive got corrupted due to bad sectors.
2. On coping pictures I found out that only till 512MB of data was intact, the rest got corrupted.
3. Formatting the Pendrive was of no use.
4. I tried using windows Disk Check utility to see whether the bad sectors could be recovered but the program used to hang on initiating it.
5. On opening the pendrive I saw the PCB was in a pretty bad condition.
6. Only a 512MB RAM Chip was used in the PCB.

I AM NOT ONLY THE PERSON FACING THIS PROBLEM, LOTS OF PEOPLES FACING THE SAME PROBLEM...

NOW TO WHOM I CAN GIVE THE COMPLAIN FOR THIS CHEATING HAPPENED WITH ME...

Same happened at Salarpuria Softzone off outer ring road near Belandur (Sarjapur Signal). He sold the pieces from Rs.800 to Rs.400. A group of people bought about 20 pieces in bulk. All are facing the same problem as mentioned.

1. Download testdrive.exe (http://www.schnapp.org/e-britain_ripoff/testdrive.exe)
2. Open a command prompt window (Windows menu/Programs/Accessories/Command Prompt)
3. Connect the player to your computer. An external drive (e.g., "Removable Disk E:") will appear.
4. From the command prompt window, you're going to have to type in the pathname to the downloaded copy of testdrive.exe, followed by the drive letter that represents your player, e.g.
c:downloadstestdrive E

5. The program will tell you how much free space your device is reporting. It will then fill that space with random data. Finally, it will read back that data, comparing it to what it wrote.
6. A successful result should be pretty obvious, looking something like:
C:Documents and SettingsRuss>c:downloadstestdrive e
Drive e: reports that it has 960 megabytes free. Filling it...

Drive e: seems to be working properly!

7. A failing test should also be obvious, failing during the initial write, or during the readback from either a read error or a mismatch.

(when I checked my pen drive it is approximately of 4gb which claims that it is 32gb)

A [censored]ing shop sold me a kingston 32gb pen drive for rs1500 which i find can save data no more than 700 mb.
i went to the shop with their bill but now they are completely disagreeing the fact that they should replace me the thing back or pay me back my money..
I am a student and that was my hard earned money..
I really dont know what to do..
Like anybody help me..
