I boarded taxi no. WB19A 7182 today morning from South City Garden (B.L.Shah Road, near mahabirtalla) to my office at Alipore. The normal meter reading for which is 29 (in regular traffic) and fare comes to Rs 70 everyday. Today as well the traffic was normal and it was the same route as usual. But the meter reading came to 42 and taxi driver demanded Rs 105. When I refused to give the extra money he started shouting and misbehaved. I had to give him the money. This is quite unacceptable. Please look into the matter as this is becoming habit of some taxi drivers, they think that whatever they do no body is there to stop them. Was this information helpful? |
