[Resolved]  Kotak Life Insurance — Auto generated SMS from Company on policy lapse

Dear relevant authorities,

Through this Email/complaint, I want to breifly describe my agony towards Kotak Life Insurance.

Unfortunately, last year, after so much of persuance from Kotak representatives, Monica and Prabhat, I went for a policy of Rs. 40,000 per annum. This year, without any intimation of paying the premium, a message from KLIFE is flashed thru sms on 12th Aug which reads

" You have not paid premium and the last date was 6th Aug. To avoid lapsing of the policy, please ensure you pay it by 14th Sep."

I was surprised to see such message and informed Monica about the same. She assured " Don't worry, your premium due date is 14 th Sep.I will come and collect the payment. I also requested her for the Half yearly mode for which she asked me to write an application and she will take approvals and collect cheques after that. It has been 5 days, haven't heard after that from her.

Today on 11th sep, another message reads
"Dear Customer we reget to inform you that your Policy no. XXXXXX has now lapsed. Kindly make immediate payment to ensure Continuation of life cover. KLIFE"

On this I messaged Monica and Prabhat both. Prabhat called up back, obviously forgetting , who I am , and said " Aap hamara kuch nahi kar sakte. Yeh toh company se auto generated SMS hai"

I want to know form KLIFE officials whether we are here to read all this stuff from your unwanted so called auto generated messages. I donot want to continue with KLIFE any more and want my refund.
