[Resolved] Kutchina — Lack of service provided | |||
I bought the following items for my new flat from M/S Lifeline Appliances, 140/4 James Long Sarani, Kolkata 700008 1) Kutchina Hob 3B-DL 2) Kutchina Chimney Vogue(s/s) I have service contract made with the dealer which is valid for the Hob till 25/11/2010 and for the chimney till20/06/2011. On October 21,2010 I found that the Hob was not working properly and I called up the dealer for service against the service contract. I was really surprised and shocked when the dealer told me that they had no technician for Hob and will have to look for someone before they can look into my problem. Till date that is October 28, 2010 no service has been provided and I am having great difficulty as cooking has become almost impossible with two larger burners not working! The Hob ,in greneral is of poor quality! I wonder why the dealer should take Annual service contract if they do not have the required staff and why KUTCHINA gives dealership to such inefficient and unreliable organization. Agree completely with generally poor service from Kutchina which is required as contrary to their tall claims their products are not of a very high quality.

I bought a Kutchina make kitchen Chimney, model FIEONA SS ( sl.no.[protected] on 24.08.2013 vide invoice no. 182 from M/S A.G. Sales & Services ( branch office), Inda, Kharagpur, West Bengal . Since the installation ( dated 07.09.2013 ) of the said product, I have been complaining about the continuous " OIL DROPPING" on the cooking food or on the boiled milk from all over the chimney area instead of accumulation in oil reservoir. This is very ridiculous and unethical about the costly product as well as the after sales and services promised by the Kutchina agency. I have made repeated call ( [protected], [protected] & [protected] ) to resolve the issue but all my request has gone to deaf's ear. A few days back, I spoke to Mr. Bhagat ( [protected] ) of A.G. Sales, Midnapore and asked him the solution and in reply he said that this FIEONA SS machine has inherent manufacturing problem and we are to fix another net inside and the problem will be solved. Accordingly they came and fixed some thing inside almost a month ago. Apart from all your research work, OIL DROPPING continues till date. Even today on response to my call, Mr. Jana from the said franchise admitted that the FIEONA SS having such problem and there are many complaints ( 40-50% ) which is quite higher for this model. Therefore, I need the said chimney ( improved version ) to be replaced or my money Rs.16, 500/- to be returned to me immediately. This franchise ( A.G. Sales & Servives ) is worthless and not able to resolve my problem.

I bought smartec auto chimney from Kutchina on 31/10/13. On 20/10/14 I made an Annual Maintenance Contract
(for 9000/- INR I think) with them for 3 years through Lokenath Appliance (their authorized service centre) .
Around April, 2015 I started to get problem with my fans of the chimney which is freely replaceable under my
contract. So, I contacted them repeatedly and everytime they came for servicing they fixed it temporarily and
left which aggravated the problem and my machine stopped working completely. So, I request them for servicing
and on 18/01/2016 they (LOKENATH KITCHEN SOLUTION /LOKENATH APPLIANCE) came to my house and took the circuit
board for repairing, declining my request for replacement of the faulty part. They gave the deadline of
18/02/16 before which they will deliver my serviced working circuit board (YES 1 FULL MONTH WITHOUT CHIMNEY..
MY KITCHEN IS MESSED UP!!). But they failed to delivered it by 18/02/2016. So I tried to contact them several
time and most of the time failed as they ignore phone call from customers. After repeated attempt when I got
connected I requested to deliver my product but They denied delivery saying there is no deadline for delivery
of serviced product at kutchina and they do not care if i am having problem for that, rather they can take my
product for servicing and keep it as long as they want or for indefinite time period and if they get time they
may consider to
service it. After that they are not answering my phone. I tried calling KUTCHINA CUSTOMER CARE but they are
reasoning with me that they will only look into the matter without any guarantee as I purchased it from their
authorized dealer not from there head office store (I don't know what kind of service reasoning is that!!!).
So please look into this matter and help to solve my problem as soon as possible. To the other consumer please
avoid kutchina at all cost as you will get no service from them after purchasing even with costly AMC!!
