[Resolved]  Laptop — I got worst experience from HP service center Sakinaka MUmbai

I have register a case in your service center on 17 june 2008 details are mentioned below

Laptop Purchase date -22/6/2007
Case registered date-17/6/2008

When I registered the case I got quotation from your side against that I submitted invoice xerox copy personally at your service center Sakinaka
I have been assured from your people that I will be intimated once the parts reach
Till the date I did not receive any call from your side.
At last I called before two days
Now you people are saying that case is closed and I have to open new case which will be out of warranty and i will be charged for this
I felt like cheated by you
I faced following problem

1)No one is picking phone
2) Concern person is always not at his desk
3)No update from service center
4) Only interested in selling extended warranty not in service

I think your service center is made only for earning money not for giving service
I have to see consumer court if my case is not considered on priority

i found some problem in my laptop that at the time of booting it gives an error "The hard disk is not properly placed or the power supply is dissconnected" but in the setup menu hard disk is detected.

So whts the problem.
You are right Manish. I too faced the same problem like you. I paid money for extended service on 5.11.2008. They were supposed to call me after 15days and deliver the documentations in time. Till January 2009, they have not called me. When I called them receptionist "Komal" forwards my call to "Chandrakant". But he never presents in his position. When he presents, he does not have time to answer my call. After calling them 10 times, I came to know that warranty has been issued against my computer. But, I donot know when they will send the hard copy. Every time I call, they tell that they will get back to me at the earliest. But, no response from them. I too feel like get cheated. If they do not response properly, I may need to approach consumer court.

I was going to buy a laptop from there thank god i didn't reading the above complain. The product could good but if the service is poor better not take the risk.

Laptop — non receipt of care pack certificate/poor service

Dear sir,

I had purchased a laptop from your company in 2007. serial no CND74518V2, MODEL NO C713TU, PRODUCT NO GU007PA#ACJ. I PURCHASED A CARE PACK IN february 2009.
I had the misfortune to send the laptop to your service centre in meerut(UP, India) for some minor repair of a USB port. TheLaptop was returned to me after 1 month. The problem had not been ractified but a new problem started of mousepad not working properly.
I again sent the said laptop to your same service centre. This time the usb port was repaired however the problem of mouse pad remained. the wi-fi and lid control of hibernation/shutdown started malfunctioning. Not to mention that the laptop was returned after more than 20 days.
I am now at a fix as to what to do to repair this laptop. this is absolutely unexpected from HP.

Laptop — Warranty Extension

I purchased a laptop on 28 October 2009. On dt. 19 December 2009 I gave Rs.3400/- (Three Thousand Four Hundred) only towards the warranty extension of my laptop to the lenovo authorised dealer named AFORESERVE, NOIDA, but till date (after repeated phone calls) neither the warranty is extended nor any feedback is given to me.

Laptop — poor condition of accessories

bought a laptop but the quality of the accessories supplied is of worst quality, the main thing laptop bag in which u carry your laptop was of a quality that in the very first use it got torn. Dell promises too much but when it comes to compliance you find her nowhere.
