[Resolved] LG Microwave — Improper Repair Service | |||
Dear Sir, My LG Microwave was not heating properly and it used to stop automatically without heating the contents kept in it. I complained about the same and a representative from company's authorized service centre (Priya Services C-5/5 Sanjay Market, Sector-2, Rohini, Delhi-110085) came to repair it and asked for payment of Rs.2000 for replacing some heating component. As desired by the representative I paid the said amount vide Receipt No. 5346 dated 20/10/2012 issued by the centre. The said heating component was replaced and I was assured that the microwave would function properly. But the microwave did not function at all and subsequently the company representative came again and took the microwave with them. The service centre kept the microwave with them for 10 days and did not communicated with me. I tried to contact them several times but they did not provided me any information and finally at the end told me about some other defect in the microwave for which I was asked to pay extra amount to which I refused. They finally returned the microwave without repairing it to me and the amount of Rs.2000 was not returned by them. Moreover, I had to face a lot of problems for 10 days without microwave specially because of festive season. Service Centre of the company are cheating on the customer by charging enormous amount on pretext of replacement of the component and in turn doing nothing to satisfy the customer's complaint.
