The letter which was send to LICI furnished below , this is for your kind information & necessary action please- To The Customer Care Manager Life Insurance Corporation of India (Kind attention Mr Haque) Sub:- Unjustified deduction of premium gap for the month of Jan’2008 Sir, My particulars are furnished below for your kind information and necessary action- Name : Rajesh Kumar Ojha LIC Policy No. :[protected] Date of Commencement : 28.05.2007 Sum assured : Rs.2,00,000/- Plan : New Bima Gold(T.No.179), 4 years money back policy Policy Term : 16 years Monthly Premium amount : Rs 1166/- through monthly salary from South Eastern Railway, Kolkata-43 Expected 1st money back after 4 years (as on 28.05.2011) is : Rs.30,000/- Unfortunately LIC(India) issued cheque of Rs.28,834/- instead of Rs.30,000/- Reason shown for deduction due to gap premium of Rs.1,166/-for Jan’2008 vide Divisional Manager’s letter dated-23.05.11 As per employers (South Eastern Railway, Kolkata) record that bulk premium amount of Rs.1,41,330/- was paid to LIC(India) vide Cheque No. – 998745 dated 23.01.2008. In which premium amount of Rs.1166/- for the month of Jan’2008 against policy No.[protected] was included. In view of the above it is requested to take necessary action towards pay the difference amount of Rs.1,166/- as early as possible by rectification of the monthly premium data for the policy no.[protected].
