I am continously trying to contact the customer care but not able to reach them because its continously ringing no nresponse,When contacted the branch Adyar where i have taken the hosing loan the result is the same.Standard message from the staffs are Area manger is busy on other call.Not bothered to call back instead of taking my loan account no and mobile.

Hi,

This is regarding the confimation and no reply from LIC housing finance limited.
I sent an email to LIC Housing finanace on 26-Jun-10 and still awaiting their reply.

The contents of the mail are given below -

I had given the request for demand (requested by Builder, Omaxe) on 16-May-10. Unfortunately, that (demand latter) was lost by LIC staff. LIC staff didn't intimate about the same that the demand latter is missed. Even when my brother enquired (whether the demand has been made to Omaxe or not), they let us know that the letter was missed. My brother has again given the duplicated demand latter on 26-May-10, and then they told us that the Loan account is disabled and it will take 10 days to activate the same. My brother was chasing them time to time and till date this is not activated, just to make us fool. And who is this Rakesh? Today when my brother again visited the office, the LIC staff personnel, Rakesh, is abusing my brother and warning him that there would not be any demand paying to anyone (for our case) (i mean to Omaxe). Why this kind of attitude he is bearing? May I know what is going on? We have also got the latter if the demand is not paid on time, a heavy penalty will be imposed. I am not sure what exactly is happening with LIC? Where are they? Who will be paying the penalty? Why such attitude is being shown? Did i make a mistake to have a relationship with you? Why every time Rakesh is abusing us? I, once already, escalated about his attitude. Does he know, at what position we have been standing? Is there anyone who can take care for this?

Now, I want a discipline action for this. Please confirm.

I also requested them for the confirmation of 'Interest Rate', but there is response till date.
May I request you to look into this and help me in getting me out of this.

My Brother Saravanan S applied for home loan when he is in India 7 months back. The amount of 11,000 /- Rs has been paid for loan application procedure and the discussion with the Manager and all necessary documents are submitted. But still the bank is delaying the sanctioning of the loan and asking for some documents which has been provided 7 months back.

Please help us on this regard.

LIC Housing Finance is the worst of all. No online support, no responsiveness. They are still in 80s era. I stay outside india and managing my loan is such an hassel... I dont think its a fault of staff in each office. They are not setup for new age speed and expectations. LIC has not been doing any investment in this operations and not bringing in latest technology and services setup. its a frustrating experience. Due to this, i dont know what and how LIC HF is charging me. I feel cheated and i guess its big scam and might be a most expensive housing loan in market.

I recently applied for housing loan. Although i am a govt. servant and all my papers were in order, the lic took two months for sanctioning me a loan. my date of submission of loan amount to the builder was 1/5/2011 which has been lapsed. now i will have to pay the penalty despite no fault of mine. can somebody take up our case and do something to bring lic on track. i am withholding my name as disbursal of loan is still not done.
I AGREE WITH THE WORKING SYSTEM IN LIC. I AM FACING SAME PROBLEM .AFTER SUBMITTING ALL MY DOCUMENTS .IT IS ALREADY 1 MONTH, STILL MY LOAN IS NOT SANCTION.THEN THERE R PROMISE SHOWN BY LIC THAT LOAN PROCESSING IS VERY FAST.EVEN I HAVE 3 POLICIES WORTH 20 LAKHS AS SURETY LIC STILL HAVE PROBLEM IN GIVING ME 15 LAKH LOAN .
I wonder what the superiors/Managers/Senior Managers are doing in LIC HFL ? They are least bothered and never available for help ...why I am saying help ...its their Job !!!
Funniest part...The telephone number which Mumbai- Kharghar office is provided on the website says 'This telepone number does not accept incoming calls !!!' Try it and you will start wondering what on earth are these guys upto...The people there in Kharghar office is ridiculous and never cooperative...They only will follow you till then time their commission is released...and thats it, , , , they will never pick your phones and you keep complaining yourself ...'why you took the loan from LIC ???'I am finding it difficult to actually cope up with these guys and I am trying to transfer my loan...to some responsible institution...
LIC is probably one of the worst in customer care. I am facing a peculiar problem; they have deducted 2 ECS transactions from my savings account in one single month, which unfortunately resulted in triggering an overdraft in my savings account and i was out of money right in the beginning of the month and facing difficulties in other general household expenses

Their website does not have a customer care number - no email address. Their compliant section does not work. I called their phone number written on the loan document letter - atleast 50 times, and it is either busy or no one picks it up. After several attempts someone picked it up and responded - "sorry i don't have the information, and i cannot help you with this" and gave me one email address to write to.. after 4-5 reminders nobody is responding on that email.

new borrowers - please beware - you might fave some big trouble like i am facing, and some of the other respondents above.
