[Resolved]  Linkway Honda — Pathetics Services by Honda Dealer

Honda after sales service is seriously pathetic. I don’t understand how come Honda is giving service authority to these kinds of dealers. My first 2 service experience with both Honda service centres (Solitaire and Linkway. Linkway being the worst) was dreadful


1st Service Solitaire (Honda City MH02BY8790):
I had given my 1st free service to Solitaire Honda borivali. Had very terrific time with them as well. The driver had come to pick the car, me being at office he collected my car from
home.

1) I called thrice to check if they have received the vehicle. Nobody knew what the status of my car is. The car was finally received at Solitaire showroom, the service
engineer called me sometime in the afternoon for any complaints to which i replied none. I asked him what all things you do in 1st service to which he replied to check the user manual
for the same. Just imagine how you would feel at 1st service if some one tells you that.
2) I specifically told him that to call me before the car is delivered to my place, since i personally wanted to check the vehicle. He told me ok. No one bothered to call and tell me what
time he is coming and the car was delivered to my place some time in the evening. The car was dirty from inside and was not wiped well from outside as well.

After some days the customer care executive called me to check the feedback. I told her about washing to which she requested to send it to showroom for washing. After all these how can one expect that customer will send the vehicle to showroom to have this kind of pain again?

I was very much annoyed with the dealer and decided not to give the car to Solitaire anymore

2nd Service Linkway Chandivali (Honda City MH02BY8790) :

After so many struggles i got appointment for pick up and drop of my vehicle servicing in Linkway on 25 th. The executive gave my wife appointment and told her that some one will pick up at 10.30 in morning and drop the car in the evening somewhere about 10 pm same day. The driver was suppose to come at 10.30, i was waiting for him but he didn’t turned up at that time, hence i left for office. He reached at 11 and took the vehicle to the showroom. I was waiting for some one to call me and tell that they have received the vehicle. I waited till 12 pm, but no one called up. Finally i called the showroom where one lady told me that they are yet to know where the car is. I insisted to check the status then itself and let me now the feedback.She checked with security post which she confirmed that the car is in workshop and service engineer will call in an hour’s time. Since, i didn’t got any revert i called up again at 2.30 pm,the executive said she do not have any idea of the car, she will go down to check the status and will call back in 5 mins. I was again waiting for status of my car. Meanwhile, I was trying to reach Mr. Roshan (Service Manager) to give him the feedback. I was unlucky there as well. He was not picking up the landline and his cell was not reachable. Finally at 4 pm (after 1 and half hr) Rakesh the service engineer called me to check for any complaints to which i calmly gave my findings. I asked him what time you got the vehicle, he said at 2:30 pm. I became clueless when i got to know this. After taking official appointment, that too for 2nd free service, the car reaches the showroom somewhere around 12, the engineer gets the car at 2:30, and the guy calls me to 4. what was happening with my car between these periods???????.


Now the interesting part of all is, Rakesh didn’t told me anything about the delivery of the car. I thought since it is 2 nd free services only, I will receive my vehicle by the evening or by
night. I waited and waited till 9, no one called. Now i was bit concerned as to happened to my car. So i called to showroom where no one picked up the call. Now as i am writing this
feedback at 12.45 am, i still don’t know what’s happening with my car.None are concerned about delivery. They are even not bothered to inform the customer that he will get or not get the car today.


I am shocked with this kind of service attitude by Honda dealers. As a brand, they give some amazing cars, but i think they are not concerned about their services. While I am writing
this, i can see so many complaints online for linkway sales and service, i m not sure if someone is looking to all this complaints. Is any action taken against this dealers who are
careless about customer service which is so critical for any automobile industry (specially service) in todays world. I feel Its high time now, and Honda should realize and take appropriate action to reduce this kind of critical issues which could have been avoided by taking simple steps. I will surely not recommend anyone to buy Honda cars because of their after sales attitude and if this continues, I am sure the Honda sales will go down in future.

I hope my message reaches someone in Honda and appropriate actions are taken to avoid this kind of issues in future.

I had purchased HONDA CITI ( MH-02-DJ-3364 ) from " Linkway Honda, a division of Auto Hanger, Chandivali on 30th

March 2014.They had promised big and charged Rs 8000/- extra for extended warranty, at the time of sales but car started

given problem within a year of purchase. Recently within 15 months of purchase battery had gone, when I asked the dealers

they informed that battery guarantee is only for one year where as if you purchase from market, battery comes with 3-4

years Warranty. It is ridicules. I fail to understand than why does customer to pay extra premium for the name of extended

warranty. I suggest that before purchasing any car one should enquire the details of guarantee and extended guarantee

payment .

Further, it is more than 15months lapsed, I have not received RC book though it was promised at the time of

purchase that RC book would be delivered at my residence address. I had made number of requests to different officials of

dealer during last 15 months for help but no response, only sweet talks. Meantime, I had visited three times to Andheri RTO

office but yet to receive RC book.

I am senior citizen, it is difficult for me to struggle now.I believe it is the responsibility of car dealer to support the customer

that what they had promised at the time of sale but I am disappointed with Linkway Honda attitude for not willing to provide

any support after sales.

I am writing this note in frustration and disappointment with the attitude's of their officials and hope that future customers

should get lesson and get alert from my grievances before making purchase deal with Linkway Honda showroom.
