[Resolved]  Looking Good Furniture — Delay in service and appalling customer service

I got furniture worth 46,000 from Looking good furniture on a Thursday. This included a bed and a sofa set. I also had bought the sofa cushions from them with slight modifications. These were promised to me on the following Monday. The sales guy sent along the cushions that were on the sofa for temporary use until they got my cushions made.

When I called on Monday, he mentioned that he has the cushions with him in the showroom and will send it out by evening. So the conversation goes as follows

"Can you tell me a time this will get delivered?"
"We'll do it today sir.. we'll give you a call an hour before we start from here"
"ok.. "

Nothing happens. Next day, the same story. And so on the next day. Finally when I call up to shout at him, the conversation goes as follows:

"Why the hell haven't you sent my cushions yet?"
"I told you, we'll call one hour before we start..."
"But that was Monday! today is wednesday.. I want my cushions"
"Why are you yelling at me? No one has talked to me this way"
"I am sure everyone who you delay your delivery will yell at you.. do you not think we have work and other stuff to go to?"
"I never said it will be delivered Monday.. I said that we'll call one hour before we start"
"Do you think I should wait at my house for your call each day?"
"Who's asking you to wait? You go ahead and we'll give you a call one hour before we start"
"Damnit!! do you not understand, its not the one hour, but its the day that you promised!"
"Don't shout at me.. "

So, afraid that he may never deliver the cushions, I called him back each day and the same story evolves. "My vehicle is in Whitefield.. they'll call one hour before they come" "Its raining and so we can't come" "My vehicle is in Whitefield..."

I am not sure if I over-reacted to this, but my guess is that the sales guys are lousy. Especially in the way they admit their delay and never tend to even apologize. Its a ridiculous place to buy things and I am pretty sure you can get the same quality cheaper elsewhere (as I went around BTM and a few other places to get some additional furniture). Please stay away from this place. They are unscrupulous in their actions and will take their own sweet time in delivering the stuff after you've paid your money.

The same is happening to me from the Banaswadi branch. They had promised to deliver by max 15 days and they have already taken 21 days now and the item has not been delivered yet. Very pool sales and customer experience. They keep telling that it will be delivered but when we call they will repeat some story and delay the delivery. Not recommending this outlet to anyone
