Luminous Inverter — poor service

Dear sir,
we have purchased a Luminous inverter 800 va with Exide battery Inva Queen450 on 12.03.2010 Ref.cash memo no-365, dt-12.03.2010 by name my wife -Kakoli Biswas from Battery Centre , Madhyamgram , Kol-700129 , westbengal.After that during loadsheding the backup time is 5 - 45 min.for 3 cfl(15w) and one TV. Battery showing low .Complain done verbally on 16.03, 17.03,& 19.03.2010 . They alwayas assuring it will taken necessary arrengement. But till 9.30pm on 19.03.2010 no action taken. we felt very very poor service from your authorised delear - Battery centre,Rani park,Madhyamgram Chowmatha , tel. no-[protected]/[protected], Kol-700129.

We purchase luminous invertor in april'07. It started creaing problem in oct'07, people from the service center came and correct it then after few hours card inside the invertor burnt out. service center people took the invertor with them and returned it after 1month , apparantely problem stil persists. We again call them they picked the inverter again and now its arnd 1.5 months they are not giving any positive reply. every time when we call them they keep on forwarding the call or give some different numbers of different persons. None of the senior authority is ready to talk on this issue.

For the last 6/7 months the machine was malfuncting and 2/3 times your so called Technician came, collected Rs. 250.00 each time and did nothing. In spite of my telling your call centre number of times that I want to change the machine and the representative should be sent with a exchange offer of a supirior model or whatever. Nothing was done and we are suffering because of bad service from Luminous.Please intervine in the matter.

LUMINOUS INVERTER — Case to be filed under consumer court for no response against defective Luminous inverter supplied to us

WE ARE COMPELED TO TAKE THE ISSUUE TO THE CONSUMER COURT AGAINST LUMINOUS, BECAUSE OF THE POOR AND PATHETIC AND NON -RESPONSIVE BEHAVIOUR OF THE SERVICE DEPTT OF THE COMPANY. WE HAVE FILLED COMPLAINT ONCE IN 2006 AND THEN IN 2007 BUT TO NO AVAIL. COMPLAINTS NO.'S ARE 62372 AND 54045 AND MANY MORE. SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS MUCH CONCERNED ABOUT AMC RATHER THAN GIVING SERVICE UNDER WARRANTY. THEY WAIT FOR WARRANTY TO LAPSE AND ARE MORE INTERESTED IN TAKING AMC FROM THE CUSTOMERS WHICH IS TOTALLY UNETHICAL. EVEN SERVICE STAFF IS NOT AT ALL CO-OPERATIVE.

THE COMPANY IS JUST CONCERNED WITH SELLING THE PRODUCT AND MAKING THE MONEY, AFTER THAT THEY COMPLETELY FORGET ABOUT THE CUSTOMER.

PLEASE ADVISE US HOW TO APPROACH CONSUMER COURT FOR A CASE OVER THE COMPANY.

LUMINOUS INVERTER — complaint of invertor

I purchased invertor of your Luminous on 29/03/08, but above invertor not working since 27/04/08 accordingly I have lodged compliant of my inverter vide complaint No. DL 101747. Machanic of Luminous company visited my home after 06 days of compliant and told me that your invertor is required to be replaced and same will be replaced with in 03 days by company personnel. Since 06 days already be passed but no company personnel visited and replaced the invertor.

LUMINOUS INVERTER — smoke coming out of the system

after the normal use of 2 hour use the inverter whistles and some amount of smoke started coming out of that inverter. i will be very pleased if you send your electrician to my house .
Hi, iam anand i hv recently bought the luminous invertor through one of your dealer ( Imperial electrical agency, 129, central arcade, dlf phase -11, gurgaon-122002. ph[protected], 4056383) . i hv strong complaint against the delaer for giving the poor sevice ..inspite of my repeated complaint no body has come to my address, i hv bought this invertor 3 months back..being a customer i am not able to understand why such small complaint can't be actioned in desire TAT.

Dear sir,

i have complainted regarding the problem being faced in the luminous invertor.After the complaint was attend it was told that there is some manufacturing defect in the luminous battery due to this the same may be either replaced by new one or else it may be correceted and till then u may be provided the stand by battary as per the company norms, but to our surprise no body as turned up nor the stand by battery has been installed so for inspite of various followups with ur Ghaziabad service centre people and the head office persons.Because of this problem in the battery wich is still under warranty period we have faced alot of problems as there is severe powe cuts in the Ghaziabad aera. Request to please look int the matter at your best earliest possible time
Would appreciate if my complaint can be action on time

luminous ,inverter — poor service

I had Purchased a luminous inverter id no B3CL3L[protected] from exel auto electricals, Tiruvalla, Kerala on 14/06/2008 after one month it showed some trouble and i contacted the dealer immediately.Unfortunately they turned in to attend the fault after one week.They took the inverter to their destination and returned it after one and a half week and demanded the repairing charges . when i denied it they said they get it repaired locally to avoid time delay.
They never consulted me or informed me that they are repairing it by local technicians which is not acceptable to me.Even i had exchange of words when they were reluctant to connect the earth wire to the input arguing that connecting it will be harmful to the equipment when it is lightning.And also the condition of my brand new inverter is very pathetic after service.A prompt reply and action is anticipated at the earliest.

i bought a luminous invertor on Wednesday, 10 september 2008. and there was a breakdown in it on thursday, 11 september 2008. I lodged a complain on the same day trough the dealer from whom we purchased the invertor. on o[censored]r officials visited after 2 days to look into the matteri.e on saturday, 13 september 2008, and told that one of the invertor part is being damaged and needsto be replaced and confirmed that it would be done today or day after. but till now it has not been repaired and we our facing a hell lot of problems. We our calling continously the service center but they are either not picking up the phone or not giving a satisfactory answer. Day by day they are just postponing the issue.
Would request you to please advice whether this issue would be resolved or we have to switch over to another companies invertor.

We have luminious inverter in our house. Which stop working since last 10 days .We are continously contacting to call center and service center. But they always talk in a rude manner and there is no response from them . Yesterday, at about 7.30PM one service man came and after checking the inverter informed that battery needs replacement., and Luminious compnay will change it. It is brought to your knowledge that only 11 months have passed I purchased the invertor. If it is not replaced, I will take the help of Consumer Court. My telephone no. is [protected]

Dear Sir,
It is to inform you that I had purchased the Luminous Invertor 800VA on 06/07/2007 from M/S Pawan Electronics vide Bill No. 2517. Now at present my above said invertor is not working. So I have lodged complaint on your coustomer care centre vide complaint No. DL-225341. In this regard I have not received any satisfactory answer from your side and till now my Invertor is not O.K. I am an advocate so I have suffered in professional work. I request you to kindly repair or replace my Invertor as soon as possible.

I am really sorry to inform that I subscribed Tata Indicoms USB based internet services on 5/12/08 from their dealer Shubham Telecom, 557, Nyay Khand - II, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad. From that day onward i am not able to properly use the internet services due to non availability of network in this area. I am paying bill without any productive usage of the internet. I lodged my complaint four times and visiting engineers commented me that i have invited trouble by purchasing this network. All of them confirmed non availbility of network in this area. When I contacted dealer he shows his unability to solve my problem on account of refunding my money back which I spent on purchasing & subscribing this network.
When contacted with their consumer care services, the person at the other end asked me to go ahead for the legel action against the company
.
I have also suffered alote due to this in my proffesional responsiblities.

I am surprised if the network was not available in our area, why the dealer sold me this service. Moreover this kind of services and attitude is never expected from company like TATA

THIS IS THE MOST USELESS SERVICE PROVIDED BY TATA. I RECOMMEND TO GO IN FOR RELIANCE OR SOME OTHER NETWORK BUT NEVER NEVER GO FOR USELESS TATA INDICOM.
